So they’re moving a lot. What what’s really been cool about the animation courtyard is that a there’s seating areas there, which is nice. It’s a great place just to go and sort of lollygag. But they’ve had these roaming character interactions, which they have at Disneyland a lot, but they don’t really have them at at Walt Disney World. Right. Yeah. So that’s been a really nice treat. Is that they had these. Accidental interactions there in the courtyard. Well, a lot of those characters are now moving inside this new attraction building, and they’re going to have their own areas because, like, you can also see like, like famous lore about this building is that this is where Mulan and other things were actually actually animated, and so they’re they’re like recreating animation animation animators works. I saw one

I don’t know if you remember, but a couple weeks, a couple shows back, yeah, we in Coral Reef Restaurant, by the way, is always considered like underrated by a lot of people that review. You know,

Now we’ve heard of the Behind the Seeds tour, where you can-it’s about an hour-long tour where you go-you literally go behind the scenes and you see how living with the land works. Well, this is three to. In the evenings, specifically where you get to enjoy everything all lit up for the holidays.

I was so happy for them, and the coolest thing was after they were done, they shot a little clip of them, like, oh my god, oh my god, like totally fangirling after the interview was over. It was so good, but in any case, the it was for the opening of this, the Carnaby channels the eclectic Brit pop energy of the swinging ’60s London, while Gordon Ramsay’s classic dishes deliver. Old Navy. Okay. And so if you go to the Old Navy website. You can click on their Halloween section, and then they’ve got a lot of brands that they did collabs with, and Disney’s one of them. There’s about 47 items on there. Obviously, I picked the ones that I thought were the best, just to give you guys an idea. And I’ve got prices with all these things too. So here’s what I will say: they have the most adorable Fair Isle cardigan, it’s like a burgundy cardigan with pumpkin Mickey’s going all across the chest. It is so stinking adorable, and you can get that matching with kiddos if that’s your jam. 4999. Okay, love love. They have a really cute pumpkin mini oversized crew for 4999 really adorable. It’s like an off white with an orange pumpkin mini, and of course it’ll navy, so you know they have graphic tees. They have a really cute graphic tee of Mickey, like in a pumpkin. Like a pumpkin is his outfit, and so his arms and legs are sticking out. That’s cute. It’s really cute. They have another oversized crew that says Spooky in green on the front, like the front left pocket with Mickey eyes, and then on the back it says Here for the treats, and it’s Mickey and Goofy dressed as mummies, going around with their trick or treat buckets. It’s really cute, really really cute. They also have a cozy pet sweater. So cute! It looks so soft. It’s white and it’s really fluffy and fuzzy, and it’s got a pumpkin Mickey in orange. I’m telling you, the fact that Ella Jane does not already own that.

So Etsy, a lot of what you see out there today is 3d printed things, and I am I am in love with 3d printed stuff. I’ve really embraced that side of things. So they have a zero, you know, the dog zero. Yes, a three wick candle holder, right? So it is it’s specifically sized big enough to hold a Bath and Body Works three candle wick candle on top, and so it’s zero. And like his nose is holding up the candle. It’s really stinking cute. The Honey, I Shrunk the Kids playground.

It it was such huge scale. So many things they were doing on stage at the same time, puppetry, and the most amazing singers I ever met. Now again, our memories change as from childhood, but I can remember, and the stage was low, and you sat like right, or you could sit right around the stage, and it had this long plank that came out into the crowd. Yeah. So the the the characters would literally walk, and you could literally look up at them like this as they were walking by you, right? If you got the right seat, that’s cool. All I can remember is that that guy in particular that that plays the jester and the narrator, he does the opening song, and his voice is just like nothing I’d ever heard. It’d have to be, yeah. It had to be because that that character in the show has like the Robin Williams of Hunchback. Yes, exactly. And so you can see this on YouTube, and you’ll see what I’m talking about in terms of the scale and the the amount of things that they that they did to bring this story to life in 35 minutes.

Yeah, to me, I mean, it’s smaller, smaller stage, right? Smaller theater. It was almost like an outdoor theater. It was like open air, you know. Awesome. That would be perfect for Hunchback. I wish that would be perfect. So creative how they did things, just blew me away, and they they actually had you know the three gargoyles that help Quasimodo. They actually had puppets. I don’t know if you remember in the movie, but one of them was constantly fighting off doves and pigeons and stuff. Yeah, they had people with little pigeon puppets messing with one of the gargoyles the whole time. It just the detail was incredible. The musicians, the singers were off the charts. Go watch it on YouTube. I miss it. I wish they could bring that one back.

We did. We replaced River Count that area with now specifically that River Country area is covered up now. Will be covered up by the wetlands, which is the water feature area of the new resort that’s coming, the Lake Shore Lodge, right? River Country opened on june 20, 1976. Closed on November in November of 2001. I thought it was closed longer than that. Yeah, it actually didn’t officially close until 2005, but it never really reopened after November 2009. Right? Yeah. Disney always claimed for those four years it was being referred, but they weren’t doing anything with it, and they eventually decided not to do anything at all with it. It was Disney’s first water park, and it was right on Bay Lake. It had a it had like a one and a half acre. No, I’m sorry. A half acre Bay Cove swimming area that was sand bottom. It was like a beach, and it the water there was the water from Bay Lake. They literally let the water in from Bay Lake, and that’s what you swam in

no. This was before. This was before, and they and they had all that blocked off. They just let the water through water, right? And so, and then they also had like a kidney shaped clean water pool, and they had they had slides that would drop you into both of them.

way back in the day, way back, and then eventually Disney bought it. And on April the eighth, 1974, it was branded Treasure Island, and it had nature trails, and and it wasn’t really a nature preserve of any kind.
