Chris 0:28
welcome aboard Disney fam. Hello out there to all of our Disney family. My name is Chris. And I’m Kaylee and welcome to this week’s show. Yes, Kelly’s wearing some of her least favorite ears because they are 50 pounds or 50

Kelli 0:45
pounds. And they’ve got those little teeth gripper things that grab your hair and rip it out of your head and

Chris 0:51
didn’t they? It would.

Kelli 0:52
It would it would leave one way or

Chris 0:54
the other and fall off.

Kelli 0:55
If yes it just as Is it just about causes your entire head to follow. So

Chris 1:00
which ones are they?

Kelli 1:01
These are the French macaron ears

Chris 1:04
My guess your own brand.

Kelli 1:05
I’m on brand these are absolutely foreshadowing.

Chris 1:09
Okay. Well, they’re they’re, they’re really adorbs

Kelli 1:12
they they’re amazing and I love them. I just can’t wear them in the parks because it makes me really top heavy and it rips my hair out.

Chris 1:22
Well that sounds on the collector’s edition as well. So of course one of my favorite things is to see where we got downloads from each week. Yes, and this week we had downloads from Louisville, Kentucky. Oh man, the Kentucky Derby which ran

Kelli 1:38
just recently the Kentucky Derby you lost money on that. did lose a little bit told you to stop it on horse races,

Chris 1:45
you know good and everything else.

Kelli 1:47
You’re not good at it.

Chris 1:48
Also the birthplace of Muhammad Ali did not Great Falls Virginia. Just northwest of DC right on the Potomac River sounds lovely. 2011 It was listed as as the top earning city by CNN Money

Kelli 2:06
to live in DC they live outside of places.

Chris 2:08
It tells us something that the top earning city in America was right outside of DC. Thanks Quitman Louisiana. I smell that quit man.

Kelli 2:20
Oh, hashtag we all quit.

Chris 2:22
We all for those who don’t know there was a Burger King here in town that put that on there. It’s fine. They literally all quit. Sorry, the

Kelli 2:33
free for the inconvenience. We

Chris 2:34
all know Quitman Louisiana, if I’m saying that right? Population 190

Kelli 2:43
Quitman. Well welcome, Quinton,

Chris 2:47
all of you all. About halfway between Shreveport and Monroe. We’ll have a listening party. Yeah. And Norwich was spelt like Norwich. But it’s Norwich, England, home of the Canaries, who just finished dead last in English and are destined for the championship, which I think is like such a really optimistic name for the second level of English. soccer football

Kelli 3:13
guys finished dead last and so they’re destined for the championship, right? That’s what they very encouraged.

Chris 3:18
It is so very encouraging.

Kelli 3:21
I like to believe that they’re the champion of losers, right?

Chris 3:25
I like but I like to believe that all their listeners are turning to our podcast to Queens. Their football was no do you think for a little

Kelli 3:32
happiness? Absolutely. I’m delivering it today is nothing but happy.

Chris 3:39
You want to check out the news news. Okay, so a just they, the lawyers for the folks that live in the Reedy Creek improvement district have refiled in state court in Miami Dade, Florida. They feel like they have a much better standing.

Unknown Speaker 4:00
I agree state court.

Kelli 4:02
I think that’s probably where we should have started.

Chris 4:03
The there’s a billion dollars that will be owed by the people that live there. If if if Ron DeSantis governor of Florida gets his way and Ron entitled

Kelli 4:18
jerk I mean, I just want to say that, like he got his way. They don’t say gay bill passed, but he still wanted to just piss in everybody’s cornflakes and do something like this. And it’s just causing lawyer fees and headaches and potentially billions of dollars in taxes. What a selfish jerk. Yeah.

Chris 4:39
So he says that not only is this going to go through and the state will take over that improvement district areas and the taxpayers will pick up the dime, but also Disney will be forced to pay the $1 billion in debt, which is not covered in Florida. Law today you have some kind of magic wand right it has a very Mexico will pay for the wall vibe to it

Kelli 5:14
I saw that somebody in Texas this is off topic but they put a bought those letters that people buy for graduates like Happy Birthday letters yard yard, and it just says Greg Abbott is an idiot emoji I would give anything for somebody to do that Ron DeSantis I’ve been entirely Creek district just put it up right there.

Chris 5:37
I bet it’s been done. It just hasn’t hit the instance yet.

Kelli 5:44
So did you sticker

Chris 5:46
your we’ll send you a PDP sticker if you send us a picture of you having done that. Disneyland has suspended sales of their annual pass for in the magic key program saw that Yes. And it came out on the same day that they they gave release discounts or a campaign for the California residents. So

Kelli 6:11
because they’re booked right that Scott Preston said that even if you could buy a magic key you couldn’t go this summer

Chris 6:17
right through until like sometime in August, right? Which is wild. It’s planned man. I gotta tell you man, land also demand I love Disney World. I’m a Disney World person but Disneyland really does bring it when it comes to like character interaction. Love

Kelli 6:32
Disneyland,

Chris 6:33
you know that we’ve got a little sort of a little news item today, but Oh, hope I’m not stealing any thunder about the the cold brew black cat thing or the thing you had at Disneyland that had the cocoa puffs on top. Yes, that wasn’t available in Hollywood Studios version of Galaxy’s edge until now.

Kelli 6:50
Look at that. Don’t think I’ve had it before Hollywood studio. No, it was. So there’s a lady that I follow. I think it’s called like Disneyland foodie. on Insta. I don’t know who she is. But she carries a container of cocoa puffs into the park with her because she feels like they don’t give you enough. Oh on that and she doesn’t want she wants to make sure she gets Cocoa Puffs. Like that is genius. I love people. I love people. I think that is so fantastic. You take your Cocoa Puffs into the part of it, do it.

Chris 7:25
Oh boy. Speaking of being sold out, Magic Kingdom is sold out slash at capacity for July the fourth, which has been confirmed we’ll have their traditional Fourth of July fireworks. You

Kelli 7:36
know, I don’t want to be there. That has got to be the it’s going to be like hell literal hell, it’s

Chris 7:41
gonna be hot. It’s

Kelli 7:42
going to be like walking through fire with babies screaming all around you.

Chris 7:47
We do love it.

Kelli 7:49
We love not on July 4.

Chris 7:51
But you know who doesn’t love it? Baby babies,

Kelli 7:54
especially when it feels like hell. I’ve got very strict temperature requirements about everything honestly. But specifically when I visit Disney because you drag me all around those parks all day long. We don’t do that little sit by the pool thing you do as I get blisters on my feet sore.

Chris 8:15
Go go go. I

Kelli 8:17
have just about falling out in first aid before but

Chris 8:20
not because of me. at Epcot cast members love this. Cast Members are making barf bags available to guests as they exit cosmic rewind ride the guardians will get motion sick on that ride or

Kelli 8:39
are they branded?

Chris 8:43
I don’t want that. I want them to have like guardians of Galaxy logos.

Kelli 8:46
Oh gosh.

Chris 8:49
Yeah, yeah, that’s making people sick. Virtual queue is the only way to ride it. There’s no standby. And it sold out in literal seconds on day one. Although Scott Gustin, by the way, and you can do individual lightning Lane 14 to $17 or something today, it was officially $14 A person. Scott Gustin said though, if you don’t get on it at 7am Try again at 712. Because that’s when the like anybody that started the process, but then decided they didn’t want to do it or they had problems. That’s when the timeout happens. And it resets. Oh, my

Kelli 9:27
gosh, that is brilliant. I love I love when people post.

Chris 9:31
He’s good for those kinds of things, too.

Kelli 9:33
Like we got into the runDisney thing recently because somebody posted a link because the whole site was down there like here’s the backdoor link, right? Yeah, that’s

Chris 9:42
right. That’s totally right.

Kelli 9:44
I love people that do that.

Chris 9:45
This the ride was, by the way $450 million project. Originally, originally it was going to be the same roller coaster concept, but it was going to be related to the Big Bang.

Kelli 9:57
I wonder if that included the barf bag. expense.

Chris 10:02
I don’t think that’s a new expense.

Kelli 10:03
That was part of the budget I

Chris 10:05
think. I think that’s all new. Yes, I think that’s post somebody throwing up Cody that was a postcode D scenario.

Kelli 10:15
I mean, it’s hard. I mean, you got people fighting to get on and pay him for lightning lanes and then you’ve got a row people barfing right outside of it exactly. And

Chris 10:23
Animal Kingdom celebration of festival of The Lion King will go dark from July 5 through 15th as Animal Kingdom preps to bring the full show back festival The Lion King Okay good, including the double monkeys and all the other areas, including the top Disney Springs design for

Kelli 10:45
monkey pox.

Chris 10:46
Gosh pleased. Disney Springs is introducing an Art Walk a canvas of expression and debuted this month will feature both local artists and artists from around the globe to create murals that will fill the walls with color, emotion and the spirit of their cultures. Oh, I love that. If so, and this is like, this will go on for like forever. This is going to be a constantly growing and evolving thing.

Kelli 11:14
Oh, that’s fantastic.

Chris 11:17
So, Star Wars Celebration took place this past week in Anaheim. And this was I mean, it’s hard to know if these things are actually really big deals because Star Wars fans are just so yeah. How Star Wars fans are crazy.

Kelli 11:35
I’m trying to keep up. I do.

Chris 11:38
I do. We’re gonna find out right now in a second Obi thing we’re gonna find out right out a second. People everybody’s gonna know you’re lying.

Kelli 11:48
There are Ewok ears the Ewok ear.

Chris 11:51
That’s right. Yes, there are there’s there’s other ears that are coming out to Asaka

Speaker 1 11:57
oh gosh, I missed that Osaka, Osaka, Osaka, Osaka stop.

Chris 12:05
Our ears look amazing. And there’s there’s some dueling lightsaber ears. Okay, yeah, that looks really good. Okay, um, lots of great news. One of the big things that came out was the galaxy’s edge, at least the one in Disneyland, which has been stuck in a specific timeline. Only only the Rey Kylo Ren sort of timeline of Star Wars is where it sort of been invested. Yeah, but at least the one in California. They are now going to open it up to characters from all the different timelines, all the different sagas. Right. So Boba Fett, here’s, here’s your,

Kelli 12:49
you know, it’s like he’s like a man.

Chris 12:52
Yes. Bobo’s not.

Kelli 12:54
This is not Java. He’s not the green Slavica. Boba Fett

Chris 12:57
was going to starting very soon, maybe this week or next month is going to start showing up at Galaxy’s edge, which is he’s going to be super popular. But that’s not the same timeline is

Kelli 13:09
he doesn’t really exist in Ray’s world.

Unknown Speaker 13:11
Right, right.

Chris 13:15
Sure. John fabro and Dave Filoni announced a new series called skeleton crew that’s going to start Jude Law. Really? Yes. Okay. Yes. And Star Wars andorre is a new series coming soon. That takes place five years before rope one I don’t know how you keep up with that and will will end quote walking us right into Rogue one that starts August 31 People gonna be super excited about that.

Kelli 13:44
When I watch this stuff once all the gaps are filled in once there’s not like we could still do a series about these five years these five years in those two years it’ll never keep up I can’t keep up you cannot watch them sequentially.

Chris 14:00
Somebody out there’s like oh my beer

Kelli 14:10
okay, go ahead and he let us

Chris 14:11
speak in the Star Wars. So I was at Star Wars Celebration just took place. It went from Thursday to Sunday. It really was a huge thing. I mean, they had amazing panels of people. John frickin Williams was there conducting a choir and an orchestra and they were playing music not just from Star Wars, more but also like they played the Indiana Jones theme. As Harrison Ford walks out on stage I mean, it’s a really fun thing. Big deal. For all the Star Wars people out here obviously in tied perfectly with Obi Wan Kenobi show coming out on Disney plus, Walt Disney World Magazine who we absolutely love. We all They celebrate them there. The photos and the magazine quality alone are worth the subscription, frankly. But they were part of the immediate, you know, introduction to the Gallic galactic starcruiser Halcyon? Experience. Right? Right, right, right. By the way up at the people in California or like, Whatever, man, you guys have got a totally immersive cruise ship hotel thing out there. And on the East Coast, right? We’re always complaining about California getting stuff that right, Florida doesn’t get. So Stephanie and Danny Schuster, they are the CEO and creative director respectively, of Walt Disney World Magazine. They were part of the mediate your introduction, but recently, they actually took like, went on board and as as guests, right. So in their most recent magazine, they really went through what the true guest experience is like. And until now, I’ve not been super tempted to spin up my gobs of cash money. Out main tented having gobs of cash are totally different things are different things. So just gonna sort of follow along with what they what what they described as their experience, which sounds really, really, really cool. They didn’t make this suggestion explicitly, but they did seem to suggest that to make most of your trip, you should at least have one costume to wear. And you know, it’s pretty easy. A burlap sack robe is what all the Jedi look like they’re wearing constantly, right? So I know she did her hair up and as much of a Princess Leia Brady thing if she could just to just to make the most of her experience. She included a little pork shoulder pit. Oh, that’s cute. And so it starts right away with the immersion right? So you pull up to the gate where you asked to go through the gate the security guard there as if you’ve got any blasters or lightsabers on your person. And please be careful with that poor guy. We have enough stowaways on board as it is. Oh, gosh. Really, really cute. Halcyon crew members immediately relieved you have your luggage and you’re ushered into a launch shuttle that blasts you into space to dock with the cruise ship many many miles above Earth right or above whatever planet we’re right back to. No we go to bat to honey

Kelli 17:38
everybody hates you now for doing that.

Chris 17:42
So you you arrived at the house. Yeah. And the doors open to reveal this. This just glowing sensory overwhelming atrium. They’re inside the cruise ship you can imagine right? You just recently just got off of a cruise.

Unknown Speaker 17:59
Same thing with absolutely same thing,

Chris 18:01
right. So then a crew member comes and shows you personally to your cabin, where your luggage is already waiting for you which is nice magic Express space space magic Express. There you know you just sort of explore your room. If you’ve ever been on a cruise. This is really what these first few hours sort of feel like right up until dinnertime, right you explore your room, you meet one of the 10 main characters that you’re going to likely interact with on this trip. But according to them, he’s possibly your favorite. Or she d 309 is okay, this is she is the ship’s logistics droid that you interact with in your cabinet. She’s going to remind you to be at the muster drill on deck six at four o’clock. Okay, just that’s all areas you’ll learn to ease your data pad which is basically your smartphone and there’s an app this is you’re going to interact with this thing the entire time you’re gonna get messages from the crew and characters that you’re going to interact with. And it will give you your specific cover story required for your time on board. Right until muster you’re free to sort of explore the ship so you you get a very special very cool looking Magic Band they call him an in band on board the Halcyon just for for use here is going to open up doors or a random doors here in the air you know like they tell us how they made their way to the engine room. Once you go into the engine room the look and feel of everything’s totally different. It’s very industrial and steamy and all sorts of like an engine like an engine room right it’s not pretty like the rest of the ship is right and play around in there long enough and you might open up a secret compartment you crawl through into the interior of the of the engine room and possibly like make Something better in there. Oh, playing around with little controls and whatnot. Gosh. Yep. And you’ll you’ll interact with all sorts of controls and doorways all over the ship. So you just explore a little bit. Muster drill introduces us to the captain and the cruise director who we find out is a resistance sympathizer. All right, folks are chanting and cheering for their stations, and things suddenly get interrupted by the First Order. Okay, Lieutenant Harmon Croix boards and he announces that the first order will be staying on board to monitor crew and guests for resistance activity. What’s hilarious is that Stephanie says that the mood immediately shifts. And suddenly everyone is suspicious of each other. All the guests are suspicious of each other, wondering which side each person is on. Are you resistance, or are you first order?

Kelli 20:52
Or that’s tricky because like she’s dressed as layup, yes, right?

Unknown Speaker 20:56
That’s right, right.

Chris 21:00
And like she’s like they give it they pass out this really tiny pink punch. But everybody’s just sort of side eyeing each other wondering if they can trust each other. There’s a captain’s reception later that evening, you might meet fk 620. This is a sweet astromech droid that will send data that you’re going to need for your mission to your data pad just by interacting with him with your magic band.

Unknown Speaker 21:23
Okay, cool, right.

Chris 21:24
While having drinks at the sublight lounge before dinner, Captain Keven mixes makes her rounds, introducing yourself to guests. For Stephanie and Danny she slipped into the booth beside them and whispered for them to meet her in the cargo but later for a special mission. They made their way to the dining room where they were entertained by Gaya, vuyani. And Sandra. After dinner, this over gave them a note that they were they gave them part of a clue for something. And they had to like interact with other guests on board to figure out what that clue meant interesting. After dinner, they just got loaded with with messages from various characters and stuff on the onboard giving them like missions to do that night. Right. So they met up with the captain in the cargo bay room, or later on well, along with a bunch of other people on board that had gotten the message from the captain. Right. And there, they were given mission updates for when they go to bat to the next day.

Kelli 22:28
Oh, right. So the captain gave the missions on bat to Yes,

Chris 22:32
and then and then all that also then downloads to their data pad, the next day, you and then you’re free to you know, go get drinks or whatever, just like your regular cruise ship. The next day you go to bat to and you’re just chock a block full of missions, uploading data in that too, right? Uploading, you know, data files, downloading data files interacting with characters and people and this, that and the other. You go back to the ship that night. And all he breaks loose, right? So

Kelli 23:03
it’s kind of like a totally different experience and bet to than a typical theme park go for sure. But you get to ride the ride. Yes,

Chris 23:09
yes. You get back on board after about two and through a series of events. The first order takes over the ship entirely. You find out that Ray has snuck aboard you end up potentially having a one on one meeting with Ray which I mean Oh my gosh. Right. That tumbleweeds into a you’re sitting there in the middle of a live you know good side versus dark side fight between Ray and Kylo Ren and of course she wins source the first order the First Order is is expelled. And so your last night your second night on board. It Like It’s celebratory. The resistance has sort of one you get to watch this firework show in space from the bridge. It’s it’s well put together.

Kelli 24:05
Yeah, I mean I’ve heard it’s exhausting. Like that it is just like it’s not a relaxing thing like a cruise ship. But like you’re just describing it there makes me think like Did they sleep? Did they talk about sleeping at all they talk about the beds were comfy. They packed pajamas they needed the luggage that they took their restrooms and all

Chris 24:29
that yes all that is their they did they they said that the bunk so there’s in their cabin, there were two bunks and then there’s a traditional bed right? But they said that the bed was super comfortable and that the bunks were able to easily accommodate a full grown adult. Okay, right there wasn’t an NBA basketball

Unknown Speaker 24:47
player. Okay.

Kelli 24:49
That’d be a hard turn. Okay,

Chris 24:51
well, just it’s never a hard turn to food. But it’s always a

Kelli 24:55
hard turn between me and what everyone talks about. So you know, I’m I’m thinking a lot about summer and ice cream. Oh, and I think I did a special last year on like the 10 best ice creams at Disney. But I’m gonna go a little bit of a different take on it. Okay. Okay, so I want to compare the ice cream parlor on Main Street with the art design days glass ace in Epcot. Okay. Okay, I like it a lot. And I’m gonna have a couple of pro tips along the way. Okay, okay. The one in France is better. Gosh, okay, so first of all, we’re going to start out in Main Street now. I mean, I’m surprised that you would say the one in France is better, right? Thanksgiving is classic. It is classic. And you just poopoo it on it. Like you love the ice cream parlor. You walk past it in the smell the waffle cones wafting out I’ve seen just absolutely it’s like, you know, Daffy Duck, like the smell just goes up your nose and just pulls you right on in there. I’ve seen it happen, right? Wrong. I know. So let’s talk a little bit about what you can get there at the ice cream parlor on Main Street. So obviously you get your single scoop and your double scoop. Sure. Right. So your single scoop is 499 Double is 649. But what makes this special is that it has chocolate Mickey ears in it. So you get a cone with scoops at ice cream parlor they have chocolate Mickey ears and

Chris 26:20
they’re and they’re it’s not like a chocolate Mickey or cookie. It’s just as Chocolate Chocolate.

Kelli 26:24
Chocolate Mickey ears. Yes. And so you get to pick from several different flavors of vanilla chocolate, strawberry, mint, chocolate chip cookies and cream. They also have a no sugar added raspberry sorbet. They have a fat free and no sugar added chocolate vanilla swirl and then they also have plant based frozen desserts there at the ice cream parlor, which I appreciate Sure. I mean, I wouldn’t get those but I appreciate that they have them. Vegetarian, not vegan people. So anyway, there’s your single and your double scoop. Then you’ve got your brownie sundae, right? This is got your name all over it. This is your warm brownie sir with hot fudge whipped cream cherry and your choice of two hand scoops of ice cream. That 799 Vanilla now I would say get two different flavors. I’m sure you don’t you probably also get vanilla but whatever. It’s fine. That’s 799 Then they’ve got the plaza Ice Cream Sundae. Now this is your basic sundae though Hot Fudge whipped cream cherry served in a freshly made waffle ball. With your choice of two hand scoops of ice cream. I think I’ve actually had that on one of our recent trips. I think you have to that one is also 799. Right? Same price as the brownie sundae. Now here’s where it gets a little bit special. So for the 50th anniversary, they’ve got something that they’re calling the banana boom, yes. This is what they’re calling a traditional banana split, topped with popping candy and chocolate fireworks.

Chris 27:52
Because that’s what says traditional life like fireworks Pop Rocks and fire and chocolate fireworks. It’s

Kelli 27:57

  1. So that’s that’s a shareable option. Okay, but here’s what you need to know, pro tips. They also sell the ice cream sandwiches that I mentioned the other week, right? So this is going to be your chocolate chip cookies with ice cream in the middle. Now you can get any of the ice cream flavors in between these chocolate chip cookies and you actually get like two scoops in between there. This is significant. It’s okay. All right. Now y’all know that I’m a huge fan of the cheese sauce across the street at Casey’s Corner. It’s $1. So it’s $1. Okay, but But hold on to your britches for this. You can get hot fudge or caramel sauce added to any of these dishes for 69 cents what cost even $1 It’s not even $1

Chris 28:46
Not even 76 Not even not even three quarters 69

Kelli 28:49
cents. Now. Here is the word on the street. That in addition Street. Yes, in addition to hot fudge or caramel sauce, for the same price, you can ask for warm peanut butter. Now, here’s where this gets fun. What you need to do is get the chocolate chip cookies with chocolate ice cream in the middle and then drizzle the warm peanut butter across the top. It’s gonna be like a massive frozen Reese’s cup. I’ve seen pictures people are doing this show. This is what’s in

Chris 29:33
the Cool Cat to do and it’s okay to do it.

Kelli 29:36
Now. I mean, that’s it like warm peanut butter. That’s some of them in you. But you’d be like I would like some warm peanut butter and what are they gonna say? 69 cents 69

Chris 29:49
What can you get for three quarters?

Kelli 29:52
You can’t get anything at Walt Disney World for 69 cents. I thought the dollar cheese sauce was a steal. That was because I didn’t know what was going on at the ice cream right across the street across the street right across the street. Now, we’re going to compare this with lar design dice glasses. So first of all what I would like to say is like art design dice glass size is going to be more expensive. Okay, it’s France, right? Come on France. We in France Shaw. This is France, so it’s gonna be more expensive. This is French ice cream. I don’t know what to tell you. It’s probably with non pasteurized milk.

Chris 30:27
essays.

Kelli 30:28
You know, it’s glass ace, the French do regular ice cream. They

Chris 30:32
just call it ice cream. I’ll

Kelli 30:33
tell you right now, the cheese over there tastes so much better. And when we asked the people in France, why it was so much better. They were like, well, yeah, in America, you just pasteurize the hell out of your cheese, and then it doesn’t taste like anything. It’s sometimes you lift that stuff culture, it’s so I’m telling you lar design this glass is is a little bit more expensive. But you know, maybe there’s a French thing going on there. So same here, you can get your single or your double scoop. Sure. Now these are going to be choice of ice cream or sorbet in a waffle cone or cup make more choices for ice cream or choices of ice cream. Thank you for that segue. So here you’ve got vanilla chocolate, candied peanuts with chocolate peanut fudge. I know in what you get the last time we were there like vanilla know what you get? Caramelized pecan ice was the wrong

Chris 31:21
thing though.

Kelli 31:22
It was totally the wrong thing. I got a macaron. No, you didn’t. I did. Cinnamon caramel apple ice cream. You got a waffle bowl. You always get a waffle. You mess it up my list of flavors. I’m gonna start over vanilla chocolate candy peanuts with chocolate peanut fudge, caramelized pea can ice cream, coconut white chocolate ice cream, coffee ice cream. Caramel Flor de sel ice cream. I don’t even know what that is a caramel flower of sell. Yogurt and blueberry ice cream, mint chocolate chip. And then you’ve got your sorbets, Mango raspberry, strawberry or pina colada,

Unknown Speaker 32:05
lots of colada.

Kelli 32:06
So when I when we went, I got the macaroon, which is a larger, it’s not a huge set a huge macroom But it’s larger than your your average little tiny one. And it comes with ice cream in the middle. And I believe I got the chocolate macaron with chocolate ice cream, right chocolate on chocolate $7 It was the pictures that I see online. A lot of people get the strawberry. And I don’t know just the pictures. It looks bigger. So I was a little bit disappointed in the size for $7. But it wasn’t until we stepped towards the register that I realized we have both can we lately. up really you got your basic waffle ball. At least I got a macaroon with ice cream. But both of us forgot about the croak glass A Yes. Which y’all that is a scoop of any choice of ice cream and a homemade brioche bun. Pressed warm. We saw them making that this is 950 it is worth every penny of 950 on my waffle ball and that girl oh my goodness, that looks so good. I cannot even tell you how good this look. And so people would get like, you know, not vanilla. There. We get like real ice cream. And then they would drizzle like caramel or chocolate sauce, put it in the bond and then squish it in the presser. 950 We both screwed up completing it is such a deal. And I knew it as soon as we done that, but the problem is is like the line was so long, there was pressure to order. I mean, I

Chris 33:43
really should be a sign right there that says, Don’t forget about the essays.

Kelli 33:50
I know. There was pressure. I mean, I thought macaroon. I was like that’s the way to go. That’s the way to go. And then you get up there and MACRA is not quite as big. It’s also it was pre made. It was oh, I was so disappointed in the experience after we waited like 45 minutes to get in. And then we screwed up the orders. Yes. So there you go. Don’t forget that. Okay, in addition, we also have the cafe glass se, which is going to be Iced Cappuccino with one scoop of ice cream and whipped creams in your wheelhouse. Still very solid order 850 coupe du de monta which is two scoops and a homemade waffle ball whipped cream and salt 995 They might have got it, I gotta think but then they also have the ice cream martini, which is two scoops with a shot of Grand Marnier, a whipped cream vodka or rum. It’s a winner. It’s a winner, winner winner chicken dinner that was 1395 I can’t believe we screwed so here’s what I want to say. I don’t think you can compare the two and you know what you’re never going to have to choose like one day you’re going to be at Main Street and one day you’re never going to get an argument over which one are we going to today? Yep. So I think it’s all about mindset. And when you’re ice cream parlor, you need to expect more of a classic experience. Take advantage of the 69 cent sauces for sure. And when you’re in France, don’t forget about the croaker. I say.

Chris 35:17
Yeah, for sure. For like, like $1 or $2 you can get peanut butter sauce, dot fudge and caramel sauce, right?

Kelli 35:26
See we just poopoo it all over the ice cream parlor. You were you were like apricots better, France is better.

Chris 35:36
And we screwed up our order that we don’t even know how good phrase just just one more thing to the list. One more thing that right about. That’s it for this week, folks. We hope you enjoyed it.
