welcome aboard Disney fam Hello out there Disney fam. Oh my gosh, I’m so excited to finally be back talking about Disney. And

Kelli 0:38
my name is Kelly. This is Chris

Chris 0:43
Kelly coming right out of the gate hot with maybe the best years she owns.

Kelli 0:47
I really do like them. They’re the my Jungle Cruise ears. Double Caribbean anniversary. anniversary on the Mac and add tiny tiny hat you

Chris 0:56
love a tiny hat love

Kelli 0:57
where they put tiny hats on?

Chris 0:58
Yeah, yep. Yeah. These are really good. A lot going on

Kelli 1:02
here. Pineapple and Horn thing that dangles? Yeah.

Chris 1:04
And one side is a WAG isn’t like a it’s like a steering steering wheel for a ship. It’s got a parrot in the middle of it. The other side is like a it’s like a light blue. Yeah, like a light blue with with a green snake in it. It’s a striped headband with Jungle Cruise. Just it’s good, solid color ship seller right out of the gate with the first episode of the season. Hey,

Kelli 1:28
I’ve got a question for you. Did anybody listen to us over the break?

Chris 1:35
Shockingly, yes. Yes. The break. We never actually officially intended to take but ended up taking it anyway.

Kelli 1:41
It’s holiday break.

Chris 1:42
I think we’re both doing our episode. Prep. Yeah. Yeah, we did have downloads. Williamsport Pennsylvania that’s the home of the Little League World Series. Oh, that sounds like a really cute town when they’re not you know, the rest of the year when they’re not doing a Little League World Series. They’re downloading our podcast Nice. Welcome. Erie Michigan this is just north of Toledo Ohio on the western shore of Lake Erie

Kelli 2:07
I was gonna say is it like it’s right on there my head thinking like there is

Chris 2:12
there’s a Lake Erie in there that’s a real thing right Claymont Delaware there’s just outside of Wilmington Delaware on the Delaware River not really that far from Philly. Okay, nice lot going on. I think in that area. And Bidford Devon in England.

Kelli 2:32
Oh like Devon Sure.

Chris 2:34
Except not but not sure right. Just Devon I’m sure I’m saying bide for drawing is probably pronounced New Hampshire what I found most interesting though, but this this little area of England this is extreme south west little area of England. Right near the water it’s close to no joke a village named westward ho.

Kelli 3:08
Oh no, that’s fine.

Chris 3:10
I know. I think it’s actually even have a exclamation point in the name of the day that’s fine. Yeah. And yeah. I mean, I was there to look for bide for but I saw westward ho on the map. And I thought wow, that’s a real that’s the place shouldn’t do it. Direct Mail. That’s just not that’s not just a rally crowd. That’s an actual town in England. Where you

Kelli 3:33
from? Westboro.

Chris 3:37
So, just because we’re starting the new year, we’re all very excited. There’s a little counting. We had downloads in 95 countries last year. That’s fun, fun. That’s a lot of fun. every continent except in Africa and Antarctica. Why don’t the people have an article like this? I don’t know that there’s a lot of people there. I don’t know that they’re you’re browsing the Disney podcasts while they’re there? No,

Kelli 4:03
I mean, they probably would I should browsing Caribbean podcast is

Chris 4:09
in the Gulf area, so 95 countries. That’s why I just looked up how many countries are there’s 195 So we got still got plenty to get to. Okay, good. Good, good. Good. So, but that was that was a fun thing to look up. That is fun. You want to talk about what’s going on on Main Street? It’s been

Kelli 4:25
news news news. All right.

Chris 4:26
So this is super exciting. You know others really really cool drone displays in

Kelli 4:33
Paris said I’ve been saying we need to get the

Chris 4:36
company that runs all those that makes all this happen is opening up a permanent shop in Orlando. Ah, shocking. I say shocking. So I mean, I’m sure that they will offer their business to anything park there wants to use it. But yes, they’re not coming there for nothing folks. I could have picked anywhere in the United States. And they came to Orlando. Orlando so they’re

Kelli 4:57
good for them. I hope that make lots of money. I love a drone show.

Chris 5:01
I know I cannot wait. I’m just so excited about whatever that could mean. Do you remember the story living by Disney Cuttino are out in the desert southwest California. Awesome place. They’ve just, they’ve started to break ground on their second one. It’s in North Carolina. Oh, wow. It’s called a Styria, a Ste Ria. It’ll be in the Research Triangle area. So Raleigh Durham Chapel Hill area. Yep. So

Kelli 5:28
where people can’t afford something such as that in their retirement years, because they’ve just made bank in tech.

Chris 5:34
Yeah, that’s right. So pretty exciting, though. Lots of details out there on what’s going to be included in that. And I say keep going bring one in Nebraska. Let’s see here. Orange County, where our favorite theme park is, has passed a local a local bill that would repeal the DeSantis takeover of the Reedy Creek improvement district. So that bill now goes to Tallahassee where it will die a swift and probably painful death. But I appreciate the effort that can if they can literally hang a bill in effigy I think they’ll do it. But hey, whatever symbolism matters to this is interesting. Disney plus subscribers can receive because the dining plan launches tomorrow, Tuesday. Yeah, whatever the day, the ninth is Tuesday, Tuesday, dining plan launch is going on Tuesday, Disney plus subscribers if they book a four day trip in the summertime, get free Disney dining plan. Now, we did a whole episode that say free dining plan is that’s a good deal. That’s a good deal. So we because we did a whole episode a whole segment you did breaking down whether or not it was worth money or whatever. If it’s free. It’s a good deal. Yes, so between like, I think it’s like June to September or sometime during the summer, if you’re a Disney plus subscriber and you’re going to stay for a certain number of nights at serampore Resort on property. Then you can get the Disney dining plan for for I think it’s a minimum of four nights. And then certain resorts. Okay. Most of the resorts but yeah. Which is a that’s a that’s a good deal for us.

Kelli 7:25
Good deal. How many good deal?

Chris 7:26
Free is a good deal? Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is closing for refurb? In January, but only for a couple weeks? Okay. That’s okay. No worries. Festival. The Art starts on Friday. Oh, yep. So we were there? No, it’s going to end on February the 19th. And then like, eight days after that, whatever, however many days, nine days after that February 28, Lauren Garner Flower and Garden starts. So we’re in that we’re in one of those very few times of the year right now where there’s no festival going on at Epcot because of the marathon and whatnot. Right? I guess. So. Yeah, it’ll be Flower and Garden when we get there which is super exciting. And by the way, we’re going to struggle to hold down my excitement. Um, so we this some of these things happened a while back but it’s been a minute since we did a show so early in December. The world celebration area like officially opened up at Epcot. Right the gardens and all that, that middle area, and they they installed the wall, the dreamer statue. Or you can sit on the bench beside wall and all that. Some of those like that area at night. Yeah, it’s gonna be a totally different thing. It’s gonna be cool. I was so excited to experience that’ll be I think we decided today that’ll be our last night trip in March and really excited to just be in that environment. That same day they launched luminous symphony of us the new nighttime show at Epcot. If you watch that on YouTube, yeah, yeah, we watched it tonight. It opened actually you and I together watched Okay, I think you were also doing some other stuff. I might have been multitasking, as per usual but yes. I was not blown away by it. Like I was harmonious. For me personally, it was gonna be hard to to to hit replace replace harmonious. However, I was actually hugely encouraged by all of the calamity that I saw take place on New Year’s Eve at Epcot. All of those lights on the water out there which were part of the luminess setup. Okay, make me really excited to not ride this thing off yet. See it in person? Yes, yeah, but a good guy because As I mean a they did a lot of stuff on New Year’s Eve in Epcot that I really struggled with not to try to make that happen in the future, but on the water lighting was really next level and I know all that is part of the luminous setup, so I’m pretty excited about it. And then we just said Flower and Garden Festival starts on the 28th This is such a cute story. And I’m actually gonna have to read some of this from the blog Nicki website. In early December, a baby elephant was born. Yes, baby pictures baby Cora. Uh huh. Okay. Mom, Madeira. This was her first calf. Oh, making this birth extra special because in the DERA herself was born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Kelli 10:50
doll second generation animal kingdom. That’s exactly

Chris 10:54
what it says it says making her the first second generation elephant calf at Animal Kingdom. First Gen. Yes. Since this isn’t a dearest first birth, her sister Luna was there to guide her and comfort her throughout the process is too much. The calf will soon get to meet her grandma Donna’s and her other aunt Stella Oh, it’s common for adult females in the herd to assist in raising young elephants until they’re considered to be independent, typically around eight years old. I know. Meaning these family bonds will only grows stronger as the calf gets older. Oh, that’s pressure and that great. I love that story. So why

Kelli 11:37
are there no boys in this just naming all

Chris 11:42
the girls for these are all the girls in their little family?

Kelli 11:45
Yeah, I mean to say it just sort of implied that there’s I don’t know that, like always have

Chris 11:50
a lot to do with it. I think I think elephants are a matriarchal society anyway. Okay. That’s That’s my understanding. I mean, just so perfectly just they’re just there to provide for the project

Kelli 12:12
maybe we took too much time.

Chris 12:17
Oh, Lord. This is exciting. construction has begun on the pool slash water activity area with possible Mallanna theming at the new DVC tower, okay, Polynesia. Very excited to see what that looks like when we get there. Okay. So that’s fun. A new DVC lounge just coming to Walt Disney World. Okay, no details yet on where that’s going to be or at but they there doesn’t seem to be any apparent impact on the existing

Kelli 12:44
DVC lounge. Because they talked for a bit about closing the one at Epcot. Yeah.

Chris 12:48
But don’t they, if they call me out, I’ll say don’t do that. I also thought about that for our trip to on the night after animal kingdom. Maybe I’ll pop over to the DVC tower. That’d be fun. That’d be nice. Because it’s villains lair now,

Kelli 13:02
right. So villains lair. Yeah.

Chris 13:03
So I had to consider that. Tokyo Disneyland to close Space Mountain on July 31. This year, right ahead of their $400 million reimagining of that of that whole area. They remember they released the the artist’s rendering and it almost looks like a big pile of whipped cream or something really, really futuristic. Yeah. So that that starts this year. This weekend was marathon weekend. So for all of us who take part and celebrate this special time of the year, which we did a year ago. It feels like it’s been 10 years ago, but also somehow last week, right? Congrats. Congrats on all the runners. And I know that you all did really, really well. Somehow people were bummed. They shortened the half marathon due to weather from

Kelli 13:56
Michael does Disney actually continued a whole group of them. He said after of course they did. They continued running in the parking lot just circles around the parking lot. They were trying to get up to the half. And so he ran like another three point something miles doing that. And then he’s like, I’ll get my other, you know, 2.6 or whatever. Later today. It started raining on them. Yeah, so they started running around in circles. There they were, they were bummed about not being able to run the house. We

Chris 14:22
have we have a lot of acquaintances and or friends that were there this week, either for New Years or for the run. And those that were there for the run were bummed that it got cut in half. And I

Kelli 14:33
mean, I guess they trained for it and all that. Sure. Like, I’d be like, well, I get a medal.

Chris 14:38
I get I get a medal that says 13 miles for running seven. That’s a win. Which is why I not a runner. It’s just why we haven’t gone I would never get bummed about having my 13 mile run cut in half. mandatorily last thing is the Disney Treasure Cruise Ship is now structurally complete. to our latest mag WW magazine does a whole thing on the Disney treasure man that thing looks awesome.

Kelli 15:06
So in case you’ve forgotten when the music ends that means the CyberGhost

Chris 15:10
Marlin you your Tomorrowland

Kelli 15:16
so I was looking at some of the new restaurants that have opened recently because that was in a very you know, restaurant type place. And I found there’s two new ones that opened in December at Disney Springs. Okay, and so today we’re talking about summer house on the lake. Yes. Now who in the room remembers when Disney Springs was called like one of this stuff?

Chris 15:40
Right oh this right both of us.

Kelli 15:42
That’s the like they’re talking about that. Right guys? That

Chris 15:46
is actually like one of

Kelli 15:48
like one of us that we still call it like one of us at work. So next to Julio is where it with great views of like one of us. And across from splitsville AMC insulting strong. Alright, so good views over there. So I’m going to read you the description. So first of all, I’m wearing my Skipper hat to cuz it’s the lake.

Chris 16:09
Yeah, when they got there when they got there. Glad you told me though. There was some

Kelli 16:14
segment. Did you how they described it and then we’ll go into the menu a little bit. Okay. Okay, so here’s the description. Savor California style cuisine and breezy beach vibes at this lively Lakeside eatery, where summer never ends. Step into an inviting restaurant reminiscent of a beach house dine inside amid charming coastal ambiance or dine Alfresco on one of the outdoor patios. It’s an ideal place to share a relaxing meal with family friends, or that special someone. Summer is ready and waiting for you here. Oh, right.

Chris 16:52
So I guess that they weren’t that hard. So that

Kelli 16:55
description immediately what I think seafood, seafood, okay, all right. That’s not it. Okay. So I’m gonna give you a little break as to what to expect, not seafood. Interesting. Okay, so they serve lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Interesting. The reason that’s kind of a big deal is because they also have a cookie bar from their in house bakery. Now, this is going to be clear competition for Gideons. And I don’t know why you’re trying I don’t even know. But the cookies all range somewhere between 495 and 545. They also have some sips and snacks to go. It’s

Chris 17:32
going to be on a different end of Disney Springs.

Kelli 17:36
If people are coming for Gideons. They’re coming for gators multiple ice cream shops. There’s

Chris 17:40
multiple right donut places cupcake places. But whatever they do, what do you mean? Whatever.

Kelli 17:45
Can’t Have you can’t have competition with kitty. Oh,

Chris 17:48
it’s gonna be hard.

Kelli 17:50
So that being said, most of the menu is themed Mexican. Now that’s not what I normally eat at a summer house on the Lego or beach or whatever. And I was thinking burgers chicken. Okay, that type of a lake house vibe. But I give you the the seafood situation. No. So brunch is heavily themed Mexican. They’ve got houses near cornbread, prime beef meatballs, truffle fries, and more appetizer type things. And then they’ve got a signature Glock. And they say that you should say yes to crab. That’s how you add crab on and supposedly that just sends it right I believe. Okay, so that’s all seafood. But heavily it’s in Guangzhou. So it’s heavily Mexican themed entrees are somewhere between 1695 and 1995. So not that bad but it is breakfast so that’s a little bit higher on the breakfast. Breakfast burrito a vegan breakfast burrito. Breakfast to stop those Mexican hashbrowns huevos rancheros might seem very success browns are very Mexican theme. Also eggs, short rib hash waffles, pancakes, salads, veggie options. Like you can get a grilled avocado and a wood grilled artichoke. Which sounds delightful to me sandwiches and all that kids also can get grilled cheese chicken fingers mac and cheese cake.

Chris 19:14
So if you don’t want if you’re having breakfast or brunch or whatever and you don’t want to go Mexican you there’s stuff you can get Yeah,

Kelli 19:23
but again there it’s not like a clear summerhouse No,

Chris 19:28
I don’t I don’t know that that matches the selling the theme that they that you read. Okay,

Kelli 19:32
so lunch has a very Mexican flair, but with plenty of Asian influence as well.

Chris 19:40
Again, yeah, not what I think of someone else on the leg. Not

Kelli 19:43
what not what you think of No, absolutely not. But I would say what they’re trying to do here with the brunch menu and with the lunch and dinner menu is say we’ve got something for everyone. Instead of specializing in one specific thing, which most of the restaurants there do most of the rest restaurants do. Okay, so the menu for lunch and dinner is separated into different sections and so you’ve got veggies, raw and chilled. salads, sandwiches, tacos, pasta, pizza, and summer comfort. Okay, okay. So as you can see, they’re really going for something for everybody. Yeah, that’s right. Okay, so for your veggies is going to be good stuff like carmelized brussel sprouts, Shishito peppers, grilled avocado, wood, grilled artichoke, a lot of the same stuff again, that’s 1395 to 1695 those options for raw and chilled. You’ve got ahi tuna Tostada those salmon pokey nachos. Okay. hamachi sashimi and shrimp cocktail. Okay, right. It’s just such that

Chris 20:54
is a lot of fish at 95

Kelli 20:56
to 9095. Again, this is broken into a lot of different sections. So there’s about those many options in each section. Salads, how salad brussel sprouts, salad kale and cashew cob, and Costa Mesa, which is queso fresco, corn, Pico, avocado, quinoa, crispy tortilla, Chipotle crema, and a lime vinaigrette. So it sounds you know, the salad sounds really good. Those are 1995 to 2095 plus a protein if you want to proceed

Chris 21:25
through that commercial where the guy says no, I’m just paying for my own salad.

Kelli 21:30
Sandwiches. Crispy Chicken, turkey stack prime cheeseburger, right again, something for everybody’s critical and for that’s going to be 1695 to 2095. No, no. No, the prices are I would say fine for Disney Springs, tacos, grilled tequila, lime chicken, crispy fish tacos and carne asada tacos. Okay, right. Again, going for a lot of different taste range their mighty 95 to 2895. Pasta, Spaghetti Pomodoro rigatoni alla vodka, everything in Angry crab bucatini which I just think sounds fun. At 95 to 3890 if I was gonna go for something bigger. There bucatini we have pizza. Nothing really earth shattering there but at 95 to 2195. And then on the Summer Comfort menu. Chicken breast per lard, pie. lard. Pale lard.

Chris 22:32
I think it may be it’s a French word pie yard.

Kelli 22:35
Okay. Is that French? Okay? Do you know what it means? One time, okay. Fried chicken breast, corn husk salmon. grouper, fish and chips. Oh, yeah, that’s a skirt steak fruits and a fillet? Yeah,

Chris 22:52
they like you said they’re hidden that you anybody can go here, which is not the case with vallejo right next door.

Kelli 22:58
Not the case. Right. And so the Summer Comfort menu is 2195 to 50 to 95. So my concern here is I mean, I’m sure the views are lovely and all of that. But my concern here is you can’t be everything to everybody. And so I think they’re going to fail to draw a specific crowd. You know, like when you go to art Smith’s your get you know what you’re there for? Right? Southern Comfort? No question. Right? You go to the burger place. You’re there for a burger, right? Right. And a lot of you guys chicken right so a lot of the restaurants there are very themed heavily and that’s the beauty of Disney Springs is like if I want chicken I can get a sandwich from guys chicken. And you can get you’re gonna get you’re

Chris 23:51
gonna get my pizza.

Kelli 23:52
Right right. So that’s it’s kind of like you know, eating in a mall food court. Where as then you got Morimoto as sit down. Right. So a lot of the sit down restaurants are very clearly themed. And so I worry that it’s not going to be a drawl. Really.

Chris 24:07
I think that there are I think I get that but I think there’s going to be people that are like, let’s just go to summer house and lay we have a nice sit down. Because right now that that the other place that sort of like that, that can be everything to everybody is the boathouse and it’s very popular it is it’s so very pop. Yeah. So maybe this is

Kelli 24:28
really about that. Maybe they’re just tried to replicate that house at a lower price point. That will

Chris 24:33
end on the other end of Disney Springs, right.

Kelli 24:35
Yeah, that’s interesting. But I mean, I will say that boathouse is very themed the boats and such. I don’t know I just don’t feel like we’ve got a clear theme here for summer house in the like, I

Chris 24:49
don’t know that it matches what I would associate with a summer house. Absolutely

Kelli 24:53
not. Yeah,

Chris 24:54
I think it’s it’s got a lot of great sounding food. But then they also put it on the side of the lake and called it summer house, right? Not really so much to do with the ranch. I’m sure. boathouse

Kelli 25:06
is really themed, like, you know, a high end. Yacht Club.

Chris 25:11
Yeah, like a yacht club. Right, right. Sure. Interesting.

Kelli 25:13
But I mean, I’d give it a go. If you know, Art Smith wasn’t there and Gideons wasn’t there. And

Chris 25:19
that’s the thing. That’s the thing. There’s just so many places, it’s hard for me to get off of

Kelli 25:23
what I’m saying. Disney Springs, I was in Disney Springs. Every

Chris 25:26
weekend, I’d love boathouse and we never go there. Never go there.

Kelli 25:31
Never. Alright, not gonna go there in March either. Probably World Showcase. Alright,

Chris 25:35
so I definitely had this topic during that was going to talk about it during the holidays, but still appropriate. We’re just past the holidays. So I’m going to talk about I’m doing restaurants to I’m going to talk about my top choices for holiday meals at Walt Disney World now, and a big thanks to Disney tourists blog.com For some of the information that I’m using, because they’re always great. But I’m gonna I’m not gonna say like, here’s a place that serves a, obviously a holiday meal. And so, I think they do that holiday meal better than some other restaurant. I’m going for. I’m going to Disney in the holidays. So where do I want to eat my meals to feel like I’m having a holiday experience? I like that. Okay, I like that take so I’m gonna, I’m gonna do a breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch. Okay, during the holidays, what am I going to do? Yes. Okay,

Kelli 26:35
I like it. All right.

Chris 26:36
Okay, good. That’s really we can quit. Now. That’s all I was looking for. Was your affirmation.

Kelli 26:44
Or really being a smart aleck.

Chris 26:47
I’m really really excited about our trip in March and Wednesday. We’re supposed to be getting all of our restaurants in order and everything and and today, we talked about the order we’re gonna go to the park. So excited. All right. So breakfast, where do you go for breakfast when you want to have a nice sit down breakfast but also feel that holiday ambiance at the parks are anywhere on Walt Disney World property.

Kelli 27:14
Okay.

Chris 27:15
I’m going with whispering Canyon.

Kelli 27:17
I was hoping you were gonna say that. I think they do a great job with decor. That’s the thing.

Chris 27:21
Whispering Canyon isn’t any different during the holidays, really? They might have a special menu item for the holidays, whatever. But, but it’s really about being in the Wilderness Lodge in the holidays setting. Yeah, but that lobby is I mean, it is arguably the most beautiful Christmas decor. It’s gorgeous. I mean, it’s hard to argue against the lobby, one of the animal kingdoms. It’s hard to argue against grand flow, you know, but Wilderness Lodge really brings it and whispering Canyon is open the dining room is open to the lobby. Yep. So you really feel that I like it. That ambiance there plus whispering Canyon is what it is. And it is awesome. It is the with the staff being irreverent and funny and a good time. I think that’s where I choose to do breakfast during the holidays. They’re there skillets are just over the top and all you can eat. That’s a win. And then like I said, the decor there. It’s just off the charts. I like it. Yep. All right. So that’s where I’m doing breakfast. Lunch. This is obvious at

Kelli 28:41
brunch I will do brunch well it’s breakfast brunch lunch,

Chris 28:45
I’m doing brunch last I’m not doing all these in a day anyway these are all these are these are for sit down meals and he tried to kill me. I misunderstood these are I’m only probably doing one big sit down meal a day okay,

Kelli 29:01
okay, okay anyway, watch okay lunch

Chris 29:05
I’m I’m in I’m in Magic Kingdom today and I’ve decided you know I want we’re gonna do a sit down meal we’re gonna do it at lunchtime but I want to I want to feel Christmassy you know. So it’s been a long morning you’re hungry today is Christmas day in fact it’s crowded the parks the park is ridiculous today. The those twins to dance all the time we’re doing the parade on ABC that’s actually filmed way ahead of time. So I’m suggesting step back in time to the Golden Age, Liberty Square and enjoy all you can eat meal at Liberty Tree tavern, okay for the holidays. Okay. Roasted Turkey pot roast oven roasted pork with mashed potatoes, seasonal veg herb stuffing, and a housemaid mac and cheese. That’s literally all just for one person. And then they’ll keep bringing it over and over. over and over again. They also may feel very down home getting a vibe for what you’re what you’re going for here. A Christmassy like this is Christmas lunch, you know, on Christmas day. They also have there’s amazing plant based like the plant based meat loaf and whatnot that is just off the charts delicious would eat that by itself. For sure. And then the inside of it is so beautifully decked out in the fireplace, the Christmas decor, all the rooms have their own little their own little vibe as they’re each dedicated to a founding father or whatever. So that’s that’s what I’m doing for lunch on Christmas Day. Okay, right. Or if I happen to be in the Magic Kingdom during the holidays, all you can eat but not buffet, right? That’s a that’s a big deal.

Kelli 30:57
It’s a huge difference, right? Nobody sneezing on your stuff and sticking their fingers in it and

Chris 31:01
scraping the cheese off the top of the cheese. Gotcha. Yeah, it really happened out of Disney. All right. Dinner, dinner. Okay, this one is is definitely less about the specific restaurant although for me it’s this is a big deal. And it’s more about how you’re going to spend the evening you’re gonna go to Epcot. Okay. You’re gonna pick your favorite dinner spot. I’m gonna go with Alyssa. Yay. In Canada. All right. Okay. So at least so yay. Feel free to grab the classic starters here. The beer cheese soup. The wedge salad can’t go wrong with any of that. But you’d be even more right if you went with the LaSalle Yeah, signature protein. Because Holy baloney. Yeah, it just puts that crap out of out there that refresh report to shame. Now that to shame they don’t shouldn’t call that crap poutine when they’ve served in this 30 feet away

Kelli 32:06
definitely too too big of a dive off.

Chris 32:10
And then I’m going to personally enjoy their fillet with the mushroom risotto. Okay, their desserts are fine, but don’t don’t get their desserts there. You’re gonna leave like so. Yay. Where you’ve just had this amazing meal. And you’re gonna go head over to the American gardens theater for their beautiful shirt to get you in the holiday spirit candlelight processional. If you could if you do a dining package with a candlelight processional get LaSalle Yeah, that’s great. You get good seats there. So you’re going to leave that amazing fool You’re happy. You’re gonna stroll over to the American Garden Theater when you’re gonna go watch the candlelight procession which is the most Christmassy thing Christmas has ever Christmas right? Yeah. Okay. Then. As the as your as you’re walking around over there, your scope and spots for aluminous Where are you going to watch?

Kelli 33:00
I thought we were looking for dessert.

Chris 33:01
Hang on. Just hang on. Then you’re going to send the dad in your group. That’s me over to the Bellagio array and patisserie France after you’ve you’ve gotten to your place after the after the processional gotten your spot and dad goes over and he grabs been yeas filled with chocolate and hazelnuts and strawberry vanilla cream tarts and chocolate eclairs and crimper lay and a slew of different flavored macarons and some hot chocolate. He’s gonna bring all that back. He did really well. He did do so good. Because he looked at the menu before he got over there. And he knew what he was going to order. Then he got there. Right. And so that’s your evening. Okay. You had this amazing meal at Lisa. Yeah, you go and you watch the most Christmas thing ever at Disney. Then you get set up for luminous and you got all these sweets and pastries for your dessert. Oh my god, what a night. You didn’t even imagine a night like that. You did great. And we’ve lived that. We’ve lived that before and it is why I put it on here because that’s a winning evening to win.

Kelli 34:07
It’s a Winner. Winner winner chicken dinner.

Chris 34:09
So last but not least, brunch. We’ve gotten to the weekend. Which is when Art Smith serves brunch. Look, you just talked about a restaurant that’s that offers brunch, who cares? I cannot get off of it. There’s no getting off. I don’t know how other rest I am going to it’s gonna be really hard for me to not have us go to homecoming. in March after the Drawn to Life thing.

Kelli 34:38
Definitely go hit the scheinbar definitely hit a shine bars on bar.

Chris 34:44
All right, so let’s get a couple of stars. We’ve we’ve made our way over to Disney Springs. And we’ve got reservations that aren’t Smith’s because you’ve got that special card that I’ve gotten you can get reservations anytime you want. Just don’t leave that there for people think that some kind of insight I mean I’m not lying I do but

Kelli 35:04
we’re waiting for brunch This is what happens when the let’s get a

Chris 35:09
couple of starters out of the way the chatter drop biscuits and either BlackBerry fig jam or sawmill gravy it’s the sawmill gravy come on and just because it’s the law we’re gonna get also some of those fresh baked mini glazed doughnuts type of pecans and bacon. I think that’s a law and then one of these three meals gosh the southern poutine

listen to this crispy tater tots smothered with pulled pork and sawmill gravy topped with a fried egg and bacon

Kelli 35:43
any new listeners are gonna You are obsessed with

Chris 35:47

Kelli 36:09
to go with it with all of it for brunch and what was the third option my avocado toast All right, you don’t have three options. One of these three. Well, I

Chris 36:17
had three bullets. The third one was the sweet tee shot.

Kelli 36:19
Oh as a meal as I’m gonna be having that as a meal. Yeah. Of the sweet tee shot as a meal.

Chris 36:25
Those are those that’s for good meals. That’s for good days. Yes.
