Welcome aboard Disney fam Hello out there Disney fam. My name is Chris and I’m Kelly. And two weeks in a row we are on fire. You’re wearing your Pooh ears.

Kelli 0:42
I’m wearing my Winnie the Pooh ears have a little bee in one of the ears. And then also on the side it says today is my favorite day. Which I think is really cute. And they are on topic this week.

Chris 0:54
Oh there they are. They’re not even adjacent. Adjacent they

Kelli 0:57
are just dead on top representative

Chris 0:59
of your topic. Yes. They look like they would be the most comfortable ear shoe. Oh

Kelli 1:04
they really are they’re not heavy. Tiny little clue II are very simple.

Chris 1:08
overdone.

Kelli 1:09
I’m fan of them. Absolutely.

Chris 1:11
I mean, last week’s were over done by very, very detailed, but also loved the so they were overdone. They were they were they were done a lot in

Kelli 1:21
tiny hat. tiny hats are overdone. Hey, hon, did you buy listen to us this week? Sometimes

Chris 1:28
surprisingly, yes. We had downloads from Sharon Pennsylvania. Interesting, which is where all the streets in Charlotte, North Carolina are named after a beautiful little West Pennsylvania town on the banks of the Shenango river Shenango. That’s fun to say this fun to say I hope I’m saying it right. That’s why they should say if it’s fun to say yes. Alexandria, Kentucky. 10,000. Fine, folks, not too far from Cincinnati, Ohio. Oh, wow. Nice. Belleville, Illinois, actually a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. Belleville awesome. Sounds lovely. Because I think it’s a beautiful village. Yeah.

Kelli 2:07
Sounds lovely.

Chris 2:09
LFL sounds like a beautiful village. Okay, and I apologize to the people of this wonderful country in town. I’m sure that I’m not going to say this right. I’m just going to read it phonetically.

Kelli 2:19
Okay. Go ahead. Give it a go. Hon. Kalocsa. That’s not good. Come where’s it at?

Chris 2:25
It’s in Hungary. It’s it’s just a, like a quintessential sweet looking European town on the banks of the Danube river. 90 miles south of Budapest. Colossal cut. No, that’s not what I said. Okay. Kalocsa.

Kelli 2:43
A very different, very different and and definitely better. Well welcome Hungary.

Chris 2:51
You and I remember Budapest. Very

Kelli 2:55
good. I remember Budapest very differently.

Chris 2:57
So yeah, so we are so appreciated that we continue to get downloads. Great. We can downloads last week. It’s just so humbling.

Kelli 3:06
Absolutely. Give us the news on all right.

Chris 3:10
So remember, when the governor of Florida sort of like took over everything that Disney already had control over? Yeah, one of the things was they will be turning over the inspections of monorails to the Florida Department of Transportation, that process has started. And so while they the only inspections they’ve done so far are of the actual monorail structures, the concrete structures, right? They’re treating those like bridges, do they they inspect every two years. In the meantime, they’ve only been so far, they’ve only met with Disney engineers and seen the previous inspections and whatnot of all the other mechanisms related to the monorail so that that process is underway.

Kelli 3:57
Oh good.

Chris 3:58
I’m so glad I love when the inspectors had to go meet with the engineers who have been doing the inspections and learn to learn what they’re supposed to, you know what’s good and what’s bad. I’m sure

Kelli 4:09
Disney will continue to keep their own inspections,

Chris 4:11
I would imagine so this is a really cool thing Disney has filed for a patent for a system for safer but more ambitious laser light shows. Okay, this is a cool thing. So I’m just gonna read what Disney announced in their patent release. In the patent Disney describes a system that that processes live aircraft data to determine to determine the precise location of relevant aircraft in the vicinity of an outdoor laser show. The aircraft positioning information can then be processed and used to determine if lasers would need to be terminated to be safe for pilots. So currently seeing Disney laser light shows up are the way they build them? Is they they take a they consider a fairly conservative approach, meaning that all of their laser lights terminate into a building. Yeah, right. This would allow them to be able to do laser lights in any direction, not worrying about terminating them into a building or a structure, because their aircraft guidance system would allow would let them know if their laser is coming too close to their craft. Like, I had no idea that we’re being conservative, but this is cool. Yeah,

Kelli 5:33
I didn’t either. I would sworn I’ve seen lasers in the sky. But

Chris 5:37
I mean, we’ve no, I’ve seen your like, like, lights. Yeah, maybe

Kelli 5:42
that’s what I’m thinking about. But yeah. So that’s cool. Somebody’s like, we got to figure out a way to take these

Chris 5:48
two buildings. Yes, we need to be able to shoot these lasers up into the sky, somebody come up with a baton. Somebody figured out where all the planes are in real time.

Kelli 5:58
I’ll be honest, so I sort of thought that kind of technology already exists.

Chris 6:02
I think it definitely does exist, but incorporating it into a live laser show. Maybe not.

Kelli 6:08
Okay. So I’ll just say I hope it exists.

Chris 6:13
Apparently, there are like real time that does exist for sure. But there are apparently like 12,000 incidents a year where live flights come into contact with a laser of some sort. Usually, it’s some Oh, my good bonehead with a laser pointer. That is not that is intentionally being an idiot. But he’s he doesn’t want to inadvertently do that either. So

Kelli 6:39
12,000 That’s what that’s a lot was the article I read said yeah, that’s a lot. It’s a lot. It’s a lot more than what I would have expected. I mean, that’s 1000 a month. I mean, feels like a lot because I

Chris 6:51
feel like a lot of it might be bonehead teenager sitting in a terminal. And he sees a pilot through the window and he shoots the pilot with a laser pointer. Oh, not while they’re in the sky. I mean, maybe sometimes while they’re running down the runway or whatever, but yeah. People People are boneheads people do they do things? Yes, they do. This is a really, really sad thing. Or I hope everybody’s sitting down. The country bear jamboree is going down for refurbishment until mid summer. It’s gonna end in January and then it won’t be open while we’re there.

Kelli 7:31
Why is that sad hon. Because it’s not going to

Chris 7:34
adjust. I literally just came out of that thing. But I just came out of my mouth that it’s not going to be up and while we’re there.

Kelli 7:43
And right now that said, That is that is that is sad. At sad. I’m sad about it.

Chris 7:50
Okay, you’re mocking me. Imagineers are envisioning the new take on the show as an homage to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. And they’re working with Nashville musicians to get the authentic country sound. The popular attraction indeed it is very popular. will continue to have the fun and friendly tone and saying characters.

Kelli 8:13
Oh, because I everything I saw online people were really worried that big owl was not going to come back. Or at least his blood in the water song is not going to come back. I don’t know that they can translate that into on the saddle. Oh, gosh. I don’t know that they can translate that into, you know, country sounding like the Grand Ole Opry. But hey, you know, who puts Disney in a box? I’ve never puts baby in a corner.

Chris 8:45
Let’s see. I don’t even know what you’re saying. country bear jamboree is one of the very last attractions that Walt Disney personally helped develop originally planned for a never built Disney ski resort in mineral King California. Wow. The show with the singing bears happily moved out to Florida in 1971 and has been there ever since. I hope it’s okay they’re changing the name from country bear jamboree to country bear musical jamboree. That’s weird. Another big change.

Kelli 9:13
Why would they do that?

Chris 9:14
Another huge change. I’ll get in there and that’s my take is that they’re going to incorporate more classic Disney music into the show but done in a country western way layer.

Kelli 9:29
Well, there’s not currently any Disney music in the show.

Chris 9:32
Except that it’s all Disney music because it is at a Disney park but

Kelli 9:36
whatever. I mean, I know what you’re saying. Okay, like it’s not stuff from movies. Okay. Big owl does not sing you know these things.

Chris 9:45
Exactly where he should be singing bottled water right on the saddle.

My Country Bears man.

Kelli 9:57
The issue I have with the bears. is that it should be a nice place to nap for somebody like me who but it’s so much fun you can’t a good opportunity. No, the chairs are so uncomfortable it’s these wooden pews like wooden benches with no backs I cannot get a decent nap in that situation and you shouldn’t I depend on certain attractions throughout that’s what the Hall of Presidents is for I don’t go back into haven’t been in residence since 2016. And I’m not gonna go this year. I’m just saying like, I appreciate a good nap throughout the day. And contributors should be that type of an opportunity. But it’s not because they don’t have comfortable seats. So Disney upgrade the seats in the country bear jamboree.

Chris 10:49
The the the festival of the arts is back it started on Friday. And with that spaceship Earth has relaunched its rainbow connection show on spaceship Earth, which is just so beautiful anyway, but because of the work they’ve done in world celebration area, that whole color scheme and everything just floods throughout the garden area there during the performance which I wish we were going to be able to be back to see the the new figment popcorn bucket is out this year. It’s really seen pictures the whole different Oh, it’s it was not really so much figma as much as it is the the structure of Journey Into imagination. It’s the it’s the whole building in popcorn bucket form, but also has lights and lights change colors and stuff. So it’s really loves

Kelli 11:43
the changes of a popcorn bucket. I saw online somebody had been dazzled they’re figment. So that it was like literally like little bedazzled things all over it and that she was like, I can’t go to the parks with this bucket because everybody starts wanting to shot I know she’s like they’ve offered me 1000s of dollars for it. But I’m not gonna take it because I love this bucket like I took too much time to put it together.

Chris 12:06
Yeah, there’s a number though. Like, wow, there’s a price. Just No, maybe there’s a price. Let’s see here. You took up all my time whining about the bears. Let’s see.

Kelli 12:23
I mean, come on.

Chris 12:24
Dee Dee Tony 23 tickets, the expo. It’s not called the expo anymore. But the D 23 event the ultimate Disney fan event. It’s called that’s what it’s called day 23. The ultimate Disney fan event will be August 9 through the 11th in Anaheim. And tickets go on sale March 26.

Kelli 12:45
Or is d two three always in Anaheim.

Chris 12:50
I feel like it is but I also thought that I heard they were moving it around. But I might be getting that mixed up with the Star Wars Celebration event that happens every couple years. Something is gonna go to Japan makes Jeremy Vineyard Vines sharp. It’s coming to Disney Springs. Well, people people love Vineyard Vines. Absolutely. And I’m not gonna go through this whole thing, mainly because I don’t have any time anymore because of you. But details have been released for the new Molana show coming to the Disney treasure. The Walt Disney theater on that cruise ship might be worth an entire Tomorrowland segment at some point. But this thing is mismatch between this and the Haunted Mansion lounge. It’s gonna I mean, maybe start saving up is what I’m saying.

Kelli 13:38
We gotta pay some stuff off first.

Chris 13:40
That’s why I say start saving up. Okay, speaking of things that are coming Tomorrowland,

Kelli 13:47
honey. All right.

Chris 13:48
So we’re here at the start of 2024. I thought you know, I don’t know what’s coming out as we started watching echo, which I really love. I was reading an article about it today. Like the writer was doing a review and they also loved it. But they right from the jump were like, I can’t tell you exactly what keeps me so enthralled. I don’t know where it’s going. I don’t know where it’s going. Yeah, the it’s not nearly as action packed is what you expect from Marvel. It’s much more about just power and building up her telling us about her right. I don’t know what it is. I don’t know what it is. I don’t know if it’s the call back to her native heritage or whatever. I don’t know. Yeah, but there’s something about Southern about it. It’s special. Yes. It’s really, really good. And there’s a there’s a movie that they’ve released on Hulu called self reliance and looks like it might be hilarious. It’s the one I was telling you about where the guy is in a game where people try to kill him. But he thinks he’s found a loophole by always having someone else with him. Right. Right. Right. Yeah. But like none of his friends and family think that he’s really surreal thing. So that sounds like it might be fun. It’s already out there. Um, so here’s some things that are in the Disney family of, you know, movies and TV shows and whatnot that are coming out in 2024 and maybe beyond okay. Right off the jump. They have decided to rerelease three Pixar movies that came straight to streaming services during COVID or or that was at least the reason they were given pics are in particular was really upset about turning red and Luca going straight to streaming services there. They were amazing. Yes. And so on January 24. I made that date wrong and might be the 12 but in January soul is being rereleased in movie theaters. Gloves. Just so good that we’ll get to see this on the big screen. turning red comes out on February that night. Super excited about that awesome. And I I can’t get enough of for town. So for town, you know, certainly just can’t get enough of it. And March 22 Luca, coming of age following the friendship between two sea monsters who spend their day sneaking into a summer town on the Italian Riviera.

Kelli 16:11
Yeah, did love Luca. Luca makes 20 pasta.

Chris 16:16
It’s a word they were they reading. On February the 12th. Nat Geo is releasing the space race. And then the next day the 13th Disney plus and Hulu will also stream it. This is a documentary that chronicles the first black pilots engineers and scientists to become astronauts. Ooh, I like this. That’s fun space race. So what that’s called comes out just a few weeks. Yeah, that’s fun. Yep. April the fifth. The first omen. This is a prequel to The 1976 horror classic The Omen. Okay, I know. And it’s not what you think of when you think Disney. Oh, yeah, that’s gonna be a couple more of those by the way. But yeah, the it was called the first omen. Okay, yeah. It’s gotta be something now that that one’s super creepy. Okay. May the 24th the kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. So we’ve never really gotten into the apes movies. I don’t know what it is not interested. Not interested. It’s not your wheelhouse. Okay, not

Kelli 17:29
my thing. This

Chris 17:31
net. This is the next equal in the planet the apes franchise. It takes place several generations after war for the Planet of the Apes, which was the last movie that came out. Okay. So totally different storyline. Apes are now the supreme top of the food chain on planet Earth. Humans live in hiding, etc.

Kelli 17:54
So, yeah, that just doesn’t appeal to me even a little bit. Not even a little bit. Everyone cared. All I’ve got to get behind Jungle Book. I know. Sacrilege. I know.

Chris 18:09
June 14.

Kelli 18:10
I have song that they sing though. In Jungle Book. It’s not good. At the fire and stuff.

Chris 18:16
I’m the king of the jungle at the jungle VRP. The guy that he wants to fire from the top had to stop and that’s what’s bothering me. Yeah, I can. I’ve got everything except I need man’s red fire. Yeah. You don’t like that song? Okay. Well, we’ll we’ll talk about your future on this podcast later. Because that is ridiculous. Just I have a client. I don’t even know where to go from here. June 14, inside out to Yeah, I never saw we have never watched inside out because frankly, it just feels too real.

Kelli 18:53
It does it. It’s too realistic. And my understitch triggering for me. It’s very triggering. And so my understanding is that the emotion that’s coming is anxiety. It’s one of them, which I would not define as an emotion. Well, I define it in my particular world as diagnoses. That’s not an emotion that’s not something that I can choose to tap into and tap out of. It’s an ever present diagnosis.

Chris 19:23
This is set years after the 2015 movie. Riley is now a teenager experiencing new emotions. Inside Riley’s head joy, sadness, anger, fear and disgust do not know how to react to anxiety and a few other new feelings. Yeah,

Kelli 19:39
I can’t. It’s gonna be too triggering as well. It’s gonna be it’s gonna like nail our life home. Yeah, yeah. And I don’t think I can go there. I can’t. July

Chris 19:51
26 May be the thing I am the most excited about in this whole list. I mean, I’m going in chronological order, but July 26 Currently Untitled, but it is known to all of us as Deadpool three.

Kelli 20:06
I do find it interesting that this is July 26. And it’s currently untitled. Like this

Chris 20:12
feels. It feels like Ryan Reynolds to me. No, this

Kelli 20:16
is late in the game you need to title that. Finally we

Chris 20:20
get Deadpool and Wolverine together. Oh my gosh, he’s gonna be so excited. Crazy. Reports and rumors claim that fans could also be in store for many other familiar faces from Marvel’s past, including Jennifer Garner’s Elektra. Ooh, to be fun. I could see them totally like grabbing people that play Marvel characters in like, non MCU type roles and bringing them into this. I know that he puts Wolverine in the yellow costume which he never really wore in the X Men movies. But that’s what Wolverine wore through all the comics was was his yellow spandex and it just looks like they’re gonna have a great time. This is the only Marvel movie that will that will be released by Disney this year. So August 16. Alien Romulus, the new Alien movie comes out

Kelli 21:23
late Romulus that’s from Star Trek. I

Chris 21:27
know. Variety reports of the movie will take place between the events of 1979 original Alien movie in 1986 is aliens both far and away the two best alien movies in the history of ever. And so this will take place completely new characters new events. My understanding is that Ripley is not in this one.

Kelli 21:48
I don’t think I blacked out a little bit. I don’t even think I know anything you know,

Chris 21:52
and you’ll never watch him because you need words. You just said you’ll never sleep again. If

Kelli 21:56
you watch those movies. I think the Romulans are they’re definitely from Star Trek. And so my concern is are we talking about those same ones? Are you trying to invent a new race?

Chris 22:06
This has nothing to do with Star Trek. So just go ahead and watch that out of your mind. It doesn’t matter to you. You’re never going to see it anyway. Why did they pick the Romulans? It’s not called Romulans. It’s called Romulus

Kelli 22:15
that’d be like the planet of Romulus where the Romulans live. Okay.

Chris 22:20
Yeah, I know, this is why you’re not gonna get to see it. But there’s somebody out there listening to this. Maybe in Hungary that is excited about it. And on November the eighth, the amateur starring Rami Malik as a CIA cryptographer, who loses his wife in a terrorist attack when the agency won’t go out to the killer. He blackmails the CIA, which always goes great. Nice. I’m super triggered by the next one to December the 20th Mufasa. The Lion King,

Kelli 22:50
oh my gosh, how many more times can we kill him?

Chris 22:53
He didn’t die. This was this is an origin story. 2019 is the Lion King Live Action? Oh my god, that would shift between present and past or FICKY Timon and Pumbaa will narrate Mufasa story and talk about how he came to power.

Kelli 23:10
He’s the oldest male. That’s why he got it in scarred it. And he

Chris 23:15
was Mufasa I’m glad you asked. Oh, gosh. Mufasa was actually an orphaned cub, who had to navigate the world alone by himself, by himself and alone are redundant. But whatever. In telling this story, we get to experience the real journey of how Mufasa found his place in a circle of life.

Kelli 23:38
I don’t think that’s accurate. I mean, I think that’s really stretching because he instar talked about, like, being brothers and stuff.

Chris 23:47
You I’ve been such Debbie downer on all my movies. I’m not I left out the entire Star Wars thing. There’s a whole Star Wars section to this. I

Kelli 23:53
don’t want to know more about Mufasa because then that’s just gonna cry. That’s

Chris 23:57
the thing is that every single time we see him all we’re gonna think about is him trying to climb that cliff side and die. You know, he’s orphaned. You were just a puddle. You were a puddle. Disney also lives to other movies, but they have no details no names and nothing went in September when in November we think that they’re animated. And also very exciting. They are going to bring Aladdin the Broadway musical to Disney plus, hopefully sometime this year. Awesome. That will be a lot of fun. So

Kelli 24:25
you said there’s a Star Wars thing you didn’t mention it. There’s

Chris 24:27
a whole list of Star Wars. Oh,

Kelli 24:29
I saw that the Mandalorian and grow good. We’re gonna get there on me. They are okay. They are in 2024

Chris 24:35
to be determined.

Kelli 24:37
Okay, why did you leave out all the Star

Chris 24:39
Wars? Well, because you kept running on about other stuff about Romulus and Star Trek for some reason. Those are valid questions. But yes, he there you’re getting probably in lieu of a season four. They’re gonna get a whole movie. And there’ll be another whole movie that ties them and Boba Fett and Soca together. So the new season was just a whole lot. There’s

Kelli 24:58
a lot you left out there.

Chris 24:59
Oh, Old all the Star Wars all the Star Wars, which I have here in my notes, but I’m shocked that she left on Ray Ray’s coming back to the Star Wars movie.

Kelli 25:08
How many Star Wars movies are we getting? Just as a count? Oh gosh, he’s counting for real. Oh my gosh,

Chris 25:16
seven. There’s like between movies and TV shows. There’s 10 things coming out. Oh my god. Ha it’s gonna be exciting. Do you love zoom one?

Kelli 25:25
Okay,

Chris 25:26
you love Jude Law.

Kelli 25:27
I do like Jude Law, just so I’m turning a fairly tight corner here. January the 18th, which is this week is a Winnie the Pooh day. So I’ve got 10 Fun Facts About Winnie the Pooh that you probably don’t know. But first I’m going to give you a little bit of details. Okay, so first of all, the day January 18, actually commemorates author, a Melanie’s birthday he was born in 1882. So he’s the one that brought in I’m reading all of this from the national day calendar stuff. So the links will be in the in the on the website. He brought the adorable honey loving bear to life in his stories, which also featured his son Christopher Robin. Christopher Robin was his son. So a little bit, a little bit of background here. Melanie’s lovable poohbear, as he was finally called, is a fictional bear, inspired by black bear named Winnie fun fact when he was a girl. Naturally, when he wrote the books, he made Winnie a voyage when he lived at the London Zoo during World War One, and the author son Christopher Robin would visit the bear often, he ended up naming his own teddy bear after her and there was a swan named poo. Okay, so that’s how that’s how that came together. Right? So this friendship inspired a collection of books starting with when we were young in 1924. Eh Shepard is who illustrated the books. Their adventures took them and millions of children through the 100 Acre Woods. Each character plays a unique role in the books. Whether the wisdom of owl or rabbit led the group arrived, or celebration ensued, the stories characters became beloved around the world. In the 1960s, Disney bought the rights to Winnie the Pooh characters, dropping the hyphen from whose name so it was Winnie dash, when he hyphen, the hyphen poo, okay, and then it just became when he space the space poo. When Disney bought the rights, the illustrations became a little bit different to the stories have been translated in over 50 languages and are considered children’s classics today. So here’s our 10 Fun facts.

Chris 27:42
You were those were all loaded with fun facts. Yeah, that

Kelli 27:44
was more of the history type thing. This also has more history, but you know, whatever. These are officially 10 Fun Facts. Who bear is in the public domain? Okay, maybe. So as of January 1 2022. Winnie the Pooh is a public domain according to US copyright law. But there is dispute because in the UK, the copyright law clock doesn’t start until the author is deceased. So, the British illustrator eh Shepard died in 1776 in 1976. So poohbear may not be in the public domain until 2046. However, the only Disney character worth more than poo is Mickey

Chris 28:24
Mickey. So please just entered public domain also

Kelli 28:28
a big deal. Right poo is a big deal. Disney was not the first to dress him in a red shirt. I don’t have any information by the way about why he doesn’t wear pants. But Disney was not the first I don’t think we need more information. After acquiring the rights to poo kingdom. Stephen singer presented the first color version of Winnie the Pooh wearing a red shirt in 1932. But Shepard poos original illustrator occasionally drew the bear wearing a shirt images that the illustrators would later add color to so sometimes in that dude’s world poor shirt and sometimes he didn’t Okay, which seems odd to me. You know that he would wear clothes on certain days and not close on others. Maybe

Chris 29:12
Maybe he wears clothes on Sunday. And but whatever. Okay.

Kelli 29:17
A Milani published other works before Winnie the Pooh. He began his career writing plays and began writing as a soldier during World War One. He also wrote poetry and nonfiction. J M. Berry, the author of Peter Pan even produced one of mill nice plays, which was published in 1919. And it in it in it contained Wurzel flummery. The Lucky One, the boy comes home Belinda and the red feathers. One of his points is titled teddy bear featured Edward Baier, published in 1924. It appeared in a collection titled when we were very young, illustrated by eh Shepard, so A lot of stuff went in this guy didn’t just wake up and spit out when a the picture. Okay, you can visit the original poohbear the New York Public Library displays the original poohbear Because it was Christopher Robin’s toy displays the original Pooh Bear er Piglet, conga and Tigger. Everybody except Rue, who Christopher loss Robin lost in his 30s in that so share

Speaker 1 30:24
sad it is so sad you have now you have a lab.

Kelli 30:30
Now your question may be okay, we know how he got poohbear. But where did all the others come from your right, Melanie purchased the stuffed animals at Harrods of London. The stuffed animals were were gifts to Christopher Emile nice son, and he purchased them from Harrods of London. Charles Henry Herod established the department store at 1824. The young Melanie received an 18 inch Alfa Farndale teddy bear from his father around 1920. And in subsequent years, Melanie would also give his son er Kanga roo and Tigger

Chris 31:05
about that. Isn’t that great? Yeah. And why didn’t you go see them while you were there?

Kelli 31:09
I didn’t know. But I also like Harrods was Harrods is interesting. I actually didn’t think I went into hair.

Chris 31:16
They said that they’re on display in the library, right? Yeah, that’s

Kelli 31:18
a New York. Oh, yes. Yes. The 100 Acre Woods is real to located outside of East Sussex and heartfelt, heartfelt England. Ashdown forest is the 500 acre would not 100 acre okay features in classic stories. You can even visit Pooh corner there for tea and biscuits. No kidding. I kept. Now didn’t you do that? Now here’s a name that you did not expect to come into this list. And it’s coming in at number seven. Kenny Loggins did not think that was he can relate at all. He was only 17 years old when he wrote the house at Pooh corner. Didn’t know that was logins was a senior in high school and going through the rite of passage into the next stage of his life when he got to thinking in an interview in the Tennessee in in 2014. He told Bart Herbison that the house at Pooh corner was the first book I ever read. The last chapter is where Christopher Robin is leaving the 100 Acre Wood. After becoming a father. Loggins returned to the song and Pooh corner and added a new verse returned to Pooh corner.

Chris 32:34
That’s sweet.

Kelli 32:38
Okay, eight, nine and 10. Number eight, The Adventures of this popular bear had been translated into 50 language. Now, I’ve already said that right. But that fact still hinges on number nine. This includes Yiddish, Africans and Esperanto. Right? A lot of languages. Only the Latin translation, that was the only translation to ever earn a spot on the New York Times bestseller list. The Latin translation, yes. The 1960 release in Latin, stayed on the charts for 20 weeks and sold 125,000 copies what I kind of want it

Chris 33:18
I know, that’s when that’s what the other 125,000 copies people said. Now, I just kind of want it I just kind

Kelli 33:25
of want it right. I mean, Latin is one of those languages that a lot of people seem to understand a little bit of, you know, and I just, I just kind of want it. Okay. Number 10. Winnie the Pooh is now one of Disney’s most popular characters of all time. Yes. When Walt Disney purchased the motion picture rights in 1961 that resulted in a brand that still thrives for the company today. And Winnie the Pooh even has a star on the Walk of Fame. Oh, is that great, Bear? I mean, I love winning.

Chris 34:02
I like the idea of Winnie.

Kelli 34:06
I would have thought you would have really been into Christopher Robin.

Chris 34:09
I was there was a there was a season where we did a lot of Winnie the Pooh watching at my grandma’s house for sure. Because I was her Christopher Robin. Yes, for sure. Right. And so we did a lot. We did watch a lot of Winnie the Pooh on the big satellite. Yeah,

Kelli 34:27
absolutely. So like this

Chris 34:31
satellite dish. is as big as the house. Yeah. So

Kelli 34:35
who is your favorite character from Winnie the Pooh?

Chris 34:37
I think? Probably. Probably poo.

Kelli 34:42
Oh, that’s such a cop out.

Chris 34:46
I think the question was, What’s your favorite character other than Pooh? Tigger is a little bit. He’s a little anxiety inducing.

Kelli 34:54
It’s too much yours to be your I think identify the most with Eos. Like I know that dog very real way. But piglets always been my favorite. Piglet. He’s got the cutest little voice. There’s a really cute little voice and you just want to pick him up and hug him. Or like, carry him around. And piglet wears little onesie, right? Ah,

Chris 35:20
I guess right.

Kelli 35:21
Good question. Why is piglet wearing a onesie

Chris 35:24
and nobody else wears pants? It’s fair. Fair question. I think, right. The next time we eat it the Crystal Palace you’ll have to ask.

Kelli 35:33
But I’ve read several things about your that makes me really appreciate him. One of the things said your was depressed. But his friends never stopped inviting him. That’s true. And even when he came, they didn’t expect him to be anything other than himself. You’re awesome. Right?

Chris 35:58
That’s really sweet. Right? He’s got good friends. He’s

Kelli 36:01
got good friends. Love to your so

Chris 36:05
that was your favorite character that was er

Kelli 36:07
no piglet was my favorite. Identify the most with you. But I piglet was my favorite and his little stripe onesie.

Chris 36:15
I don’t know man. Kanga no roo not so much rather No.

Kelli 36:21
We could have done better with rabbit that’s a horrible name. I mean, I get they’re all sort of named after the animals rabbit Tigger, Kanga I mean, I get that right

Chris 36:31
I did grab tiger’s tail once at the park. That’s probably against I don’t think they’re like that. I don’t think Tigers like that at all or their handlers like it either.
