Episode Transcript:

Chris 0:27
Welcome aboard Disney fam. Welcome aboard indeed. Disney fan. We are back. My name is Chris and I’m Kelly. And you are wearing it’s all about more.

Kelli 0:43
Specifically, I’m wearing Miss Piggy ears because if we make it through my entire segment with the food that I’m going to discuss, we I will feel like Miss biggie. That’s that’s where I went with that.

Chris 0:55
Fair enough. That’s fair enough. You did a five kidney so that’s Gosh. So hey, we have some cool cities that downloaded the podcast. Yes. Aurora, Illinois, the second most populous city in Illinois, you know that I didn’t die. Okay, what is Aurora Illinois famous for its in a movie? Is it Wayne and Garth, Wayne and Garth, Wayne and Garth from extra credit for

Kelli 1:23
that because I’m not good at movies. And I’ve actually never seen that one. Oh, wow.

Chris 1:26
Well, there’s, there’s two of them. So yes, Aurora, Illinois. Waiting got Tracy, California. Okay. That’s not just one person in California that’s outside of town. In the San Joaquin Valley East of the bay area is home to a JIRA daily ice cream and chocolate factory. See, I’m bringing extra stuff here. North Kingstown Rhode Island, right on the coast and south of Providence, Rhode Island. Okay. Feldman. And this was not a recent city, but felt like we just had to, to put these folks out there this week. We have had in the course of our history here, at least one download from Bila Tserkva. Ukraine, that is English will be white church, Ukraine. They’re about 50 miles south of key which we know is pretty much under siege right now as we record and just in case you know, our stance on things in the past haven’t made it clear. We stand with Ukraine here at our podcast. Yes, we do. So we pray for those wonderful freedom fighters over there. Absolutely. Okay, so you’re ready for Main Street Main Street? All right. Some cool news. Walt Disney World has moved some attractions from the to the genie plus lightning Lane from the individual purchase lightning lane. Okay, good. There’s typically two rides at every park they’ve taken what would be the lesser demand of each of those rides and they’ve put them on off of individual purchase on a genie excuse me, and the the reason they say they’re doing it from I think March 25 or April 25 They’re doing it through the busy season all the way through like August yes all that and the reason is to its they’re not worried about making money on this one so much as they are trying to disperse those crowds right. So we’ll get they think they’ll get you know more people on to runaway railway and Space Mountain right on the lightning lanes if people don’t have to purchase those separately and the more people that get on those rides, the fewer people there are everywhere else.

Kelli 3:51
So we’re runaway railway should have never been

Chris 3:53
should not be there. It should be Slinky Dog dash all day. Hollywood Studios. I don’t know if you’ve heard about Magic Band. Plus, it’s a upgraded version of magic bands that are that are hitting the market pretty soon. And the idea is these things will interact with various parts of the park. Specifically they will interact with the new fab 50 gold statues that are scattered about the four parks. That’s cool. Yeah, that’s really cool. And I’m sure that they will begin to interact with other areas of the parks also. Yeah, so that’s pretty cool. Magic Kingdom is the festival of fantasy showtimes were released. This is the parade with the big Fiery Dragon that sometimes catches on fire himself to herself or herself.

Kelli 4:42
Gender Specific the dragon.

Chris 4:45
Two shows each day. How about this, they are likely recording a new narration for the people everywhere.

Kelli 4:55
Okay,

Chris 4:56
can you can you guess why?

Kelli 4:58
Because you’re gonna go about trying you’re gonna go by trainee to talk about that

Chris 5:02
casting call is for a character named ORAC and enthusiastic artificial intelligence that takes us on a tour of a futuristic land. The Tomorrowland people mover used to be narrated by a character named Oreck it looks like Disney is looking to re implement that character that AI character

Kelli 5:24
as Have you not applied for this casting call. I

Chris 5:26
didn’t realize it was happening until this week, but it should go see like the the casting call. It is so interesting. We want someone whose voice is not too deep, but not today. I mean, they go really specific about the person’s voice You

Kelli 5:39
don’t think so? You

Chris 5:40
think I should do it?

Kelli 5:41
I really do think you should do it. How cool would that be? What a claim to fame? On I’m already on the people mover.

Chris 5:50
Maybe I’ll do. I’ll see if I can find me so cool. Mickey Mickey’s magical friendship fair debut this week on Cinderella stage. That’s the that’s the Cinderella stage show.

Kelli 6:02
Right right. Right. Yeah. Together house.

Chris 6:06
Yes, sure. And you know, big deal because if any of these parades any of the shows people gather, right so it’s returning back to normalcy. Right? wrong or indifferent. Right. Big news last week and really this week to that galactic star cruiser is now hosting people. Yes, last week, they had the influencer and media. Free visits. Yes. Tons of stuff online follows a guy named Craig Williams on Twitter at teleclass after know at tele clash er, t le CLA sh er, for hours it literally hours and hours and hours of video from his time on starcruiser. Gosh, really, really, really cool. This? Honestly, it does look pretty cool. Oh, no. The $6,000 is ever going to come out of my pocket for a two night stay.

Kelli 7:08
Honey, that’s overstating it. I’m going to talk in my segment about how much a two night stay is and it’s not 6000

Chris 7:14
All right, fair. Good. Good. I’m glad to hear that much lower. Okay, I’m glad to hear. I’m gonna guessed it. $6,000 Before you get off that accrues?

Kelli 7:24
I’m sure it is. Yes.

Chris 7:27
Anyway, that big deal. They’re there. I think people this week are the first actual guests are staying there tonight. As we record for the first time.

Kelli 7:35
That’s cool. That’s very cool. Yep.

Chris 7:38
Epcot news, Ana and Elsa Meet and Greet are returning indoors to the royal summer house. Again, I’m sure they’re distanced but I saw

Kelli 7:46
pictures of this. Did you see the photos?

Chris 7:51
You don’t think they look like them? I don’t. I knew that. I knew when I did see the pictures of on and outside. I thought I

Kelli 7:57
saw the pictures. I was like, Oh my gosh, you smell like beef and cheese. You’re not Santa’s

Chris 8:05
not like a throne of lies. You’re sitting on a throne of lies.

Kelli 8:12
Well, they dug a little deep for that one

Chris 8:14
air back there back inside royal summer house. Summer summer. hos Yes. And also in Epcot, Guardians of the Galaxy cosmic rewind is set to open Memorial Day weekend. We’re all very excited. We are very

Kelli 8:28
excited about that, as Zach posted pictures of the the area where you get into the cars and it’s like first time ever the loading area works like this and you have special vehicles and blah blah blah.

Chris 8:40
They are very special. Gosh, Zack,

Kelli 8:42
what would we do without you? I don’t know. I wouldn’t have not known what the loading area looked like this week. If I didn’t follow Zack

Chris 8:50
that’s a little mock Kotori we’re mocking Zach a little bit Lovesac Flower and Garden Festival merchandise has been revealed. So you can go to Disney parks and click on the proper article there and you will see all sorts of fun new frankly, there’s a lot of stuff but I clicked through it and I thought oh my gosh, I don’t know if it’s a blessing that we’re not there because they have so many books.

Kelli 9:15
So many mugs

Chris 9:17
so many drinking vessels that

Kelli 9:20
you know I love Zinfandel to

Chris 9:23
come back without short sleeve with your mug. Moving to Hollywood Studios elevator maintenance means longer lines on tower tear for the next few months probably expected to go well into the summer

Kelli 9:35
because they need to like repair like one of the elevator right there. So they’re going down Yeah, okay all right good. So

Chris 9:41
just FYI there there’s gonna be some longer lines the normal Tower of Terror um, Expedition Everest refurb extended into May, you know that shut down like right in the middle of January right after we went right after we got there. Yeah, and I Um, that’s the other individual lightning laying option for Animal Kingdom you gotta find a passage is one. So they expect that when it comes out of refurb that it’ll go into Genie plus

Kelli 10:12
plus. Okay. All right.

Chris 10:14
Um, exciting news at Disneyland. The nighttime spectaculars are set to return on April the 22nd. So this is Disneyland forever firework show the world of color which I’m dying to see. And, and the Main Street Electrical Parade which dies every couple of year and then comes back to life. Except this time it’s coming back with a life to live with a brand new finale. That highlights in Kanto The Jungle Book Raya Aladdin Coco Milan brave princess in the frog a lot of folks there a lot of cool stuff they replaced the the sort of patriotic American flag ending with these characters that have never been in the electrical braid and I think it’s great the pictures online look awesome. Yeah, it looks like a pretty good finale. Yeah, Mirabelle is just is burnt

Kelli 11:05
out on the float I didn’t look and see if burned out.

Chris 11:07
I don’t think so. I

Kelli 11:09
think he should be should marginalized

Chris 11:11
oh Lord. Oh movies.

Kelli 11:13
All movies about you’d be marginalized? Put about the flood for goodness sakes.

Chris 11:20
Let’s see here. Oh, did you see that the that Disney Springs you can pick up complimentary annual pass holder magnets look sort of like iridescent ones. Mickey and Minnie on that now? I know thought about flying down there just to pick up one I’m very upset about myself. I’m

Kelli 11:38
very upset about it should allow us to go online and pay for shipping. I

Chris 11:42
think so too.

Kelli 11:43
I feel like they should.

Chris 11:44
If only we knew somebody there. So as of we’re recording on March 1, we’re a little late this week. As of today, Netflix no longer has any of the Marvel properties. So Daredevil Jessica Jones, Iron Fist defenders, Luke Cage, and Punisher.

Kelli 12:00
I don’t know any of those people.

Chris 12:02
I know you don’t. But it was also just announced today or yesterday that they will definitely expect you as as has been speculated. They will definitely be coming to Disney plus on March the 15th. Okay, that’s exciting. Okay, are you not excited? I’m

Kelli 12:19
very excited for these people who have never heard of Iron Fist. Yeah, that’s not a thing. Yeah,

Chris 12:26
it is. And who else these folks made up the punishers The Punisher? Yeah.

Kelli 12:31
I don’t think that’s the thing. Yeah, it

Chris 12:33
is Jessica Jones. You would love Jessica Jones.

Kelli 12:36
That’s her name. Jessica Jones. Yeah, like that’s her superhero name is Jessica

Chris 12:39
Jones.

Kelli 12:42
Fantastic.

Chris 12:42
That’s also just a regular name. She doesn’t have an alter ego.

Kelli 12:45
What’s her power?

Chris 12:47
She’s real strong.

Kelli 12:48
Jessica Jones.

Chris 12:50
Strong. Lisa. She’s a strong woman. Yes.

Kelli 12:54
Jessica Jones. I’m strong woman.

Chris 12:56
strong woman.

Kelli 12:57
Okay,

Chris 12:58
you got Tomorrowland. I do. Because I did not do it tomorrow.

Kelli 13:03
Yeah. So I’m gonna try my best to get through the breakfast and the lunch buffets on the house. Yeah. Oh, right now, huge props to Disney food blog for putting this out there. Nobody does food like Disney food blog. So thank you all for this fantastic review. And all these details. First of all, I will say for two people in a room. The stay is $4,800. Okay, okay, if you have a third person, it’s like $5,200. And for four people. It’s like 56. So it’s all a family house and a family of four can go for less than 6000. I mean, with tax maybe I don’t know, but and anything that any one thing you buy puts you right at the top. So I will just say that the photos I saw online make this experience look very Cruzi. Right. So like, you have to go into your muster stations when you get there. There are lounges there’s a big huge atrium area. The whole experience feels very, very sad. Yeah, right. Yes, yes. I think that’s the idea and it feels very, very crazy. So I’m going to try to get through breakfast and lunch buffet is in the crown of Corellia dining room. Now again, just like a cruise. There’s a breakfast and lunch buffet and a sit down dinner, I’m sure and then there’s also a great lounge that has some other little little bites that you might want. You’re only on this thing for two days. Right? Right. So there’s not a whole lot of eating options but they really do you know, diversify the buffet to sort of give you a good idea. I’m gonna do my best here y’all but I don’t want to rush through these. I want to make sure we can talk about them. So first of all, this is nice. These are individual tables with nice chairs your SAT for dinner but you but lunch and breakfast or you know find your own seat type of situation. utensils and cloth napkins. A very spacey vibe kind of like the sport but shinier. Right okay. And everything is on individual plates. Now you know my position on buffets against them. I’m against them at a very visceral level, I am against buffets. Now I will say that this does alleviate a little bit of my concerns. Because everything’s on its individual plate, I’m not using the same serving utensil that somebody else just coughed into their hand and then grabbed and then started spoon and fruit out on the plate. Now this also, you know, makes it so that they can handle the presentation of each dish. So all of the dishes on the buffet are on their own little individual plate. Oh, you grabbed the plate. So you go up and get your own little plate. So if you want, say, the pastry board, then you pick up your own little pastry board. You’re not just getting one muffin, you’re getting a pastry boy interest. I do think this is going to lean more towards maybe a wasteful situation. But I don’t know that that is a concern on cruises. I think cruises are just made for waste is when it comes to food. But so essentially, you go up to the buffet, and you pick your little plates and you put them on your tray and people say it’s essentially like food, Tetris. Okay, like you’re trying to get all your little plates to fit on your tray. You can go up as many times as you want. Okay, right. But in any case, we’re not sharing utensils. There shouldn’t be a situation where like salad dressing gets dripped across the buffet. Or you know, fruit is strewn about. Right. So it should all the things

Chris 16:13
you worry about. You in particular worry about.

Kelli 16:18
Dinner is served family style, right, but again, just like a cruise you get as much as you want, or there’s a drink station, coffee, tea, sodas with all the same logos on the sodas that you get in Galaxy’s edge. Also on tap blue and green milk and on tap and they have tons of juices. Okay. So a lot, a lot of drink options. We’re gonna start with breakfast. Okay, okay, and I’m gonna go through the dishes. Now, y’all These dishes are very unique. Sure, a presentation counts. They are trying to freak you out. I know. You’ve all heard about the blue shrimp. We’re not going to get there and breakfast and lunch. Okay.

Chris 16:58
And if you haven’t, if you have somebody else, somebody out there that hasn’t heard of it is like,

Kelli 17:04
Well, yeah, and I have found yet another reason to never eat shrimp. So in any case, these are very interesting dishes. Right? And they’re meant to look spacey in Phase Five and be unique like, like the cantina right? Galaxy’s edge. Okay, so breakfast, what are the first things and I’m combining here breakfast day one and breakfast day two, because there are different options on the buffet. Okay, so first we’ve got compressed fruit. Now these are little fruit bites that are put into a vacuum sealed package and like vacuum sealed with a simple syrup. That gives them just a little bit more sweetness, but not over the top. Okay, okay. And then it had like little dragon fruit blob on top of it. didn’t do a very good job describing that but you got a visual. The second one is a pastry board. And it’s essentially a little tray with like three different pastries. Okay, you get a blueberry muffin, which is purple, like the whole muffin is purple. Okay, a croissant with like fruit jelly on top and a sweet bun. Now that all sounds fairly, you know, benign. Yes, yes. But it comes with a spiral of blue milk butter. Which tastes slightly like sweet butter and that is topped with a strawberry jelly square. So a little spiral blue milk butter that’s like hard, you know? And it with a little jelly square. Right on tops. Right? Are you with me?

Chris 18:27
Right, it’s playing around.

Kelli 18:28
The next one is a palm fruit yogurt, OSI sweet cream freeze. Now this is essentially Greek yogurt topped with quinoa, granola, and a user jelly. It served in like an old style. Milk. Like looks like a little short milk container. It’s really cute. It looks it looks very cute. And in the results. The review said it was good. Okay, it was good. Next is the green pear berry toast. Now the review said this is essentially the take on the millennials. Avocado. I just wanna say I appreciate being lumped in with the millennial.

Chris 19:04
You don’t mind you don’t mind being called a millennial for the avocado toast at all.

Kelli 19:09
I’m hip. So this is essentially a circular avocado toast. Okay, it is avocado. It’s called pear Berry, but it’s avocado. And it’s like creamed avocado. Like put on top in a circular fashion topped with a few pieces of very interestingly shaped fruit. Okay, yeah. Okay, next up. Eventually I’m gonna get to something you will be cutting. Okay. Are you worried about exhale your face. Next are the whipped eggs. Now, no, no. This is square shaped. It’s a square. Okay, and about about an inch and a half tall and maybe like a three by three three square topped with like a radish slice a yellow piece of cauliflower and maybe some other fruit In a spiced bag to white sauce, interesting. They said that this is reminiscent of egg white flavored jello. Yikes. It wasn’t they weren’t.

Chris 20:11
That does not sell it. Yeah.

Kelli 20:14
Next is the crispy tuber waffle. This is like a giant hash brown that has been shaped into a waffle. It’s topped with a cheddar cheese egg bite. And I don’t know why it’s called cheddar cheese but it is nice, but I didn’t misspell that Apple fruit a bacon flour. So essentially they take a strip of bacon and like make it into a little circular flower. Yes, a lot and an herb egg butter sauce was just essentially holidays. They say that this will rock your world. It sounds like a cheaper waffle will rock your world. You can also get a trend Gil a chan driller, waffle with eggs and sausage. Now the challenge really is like the people who own the ship. And so their logo is everywhere like if you’re on a Royal Caribbean cruise, this is the Royal Caribbean logo everywhere Okay, so the chandrashila this eggs are written like on the little tag as a rolled omelet. Okay, the waffle the chinchilla waffle is described as multi pillowy soft and delicious. The egg was great, flattened and then rolled up into a spiral with a lot of cheese. Oh, I

Chris 21:24
like it

Kelli 21:29
they also have kale porridge will serve with sausage in quotes gravy, which is actually a mushroom gravy and egg in quotes worms negative

Chris 21:38
Ghostrider Yeah,

Kelli 21:40
it’s plant based weird eggs. I’m not gonna go there. Next is the breakfast meat pie. I’m still I’m sold essentially a breakfast pizza with cheese sausage and bacon. There is actually a woodfired oven on the ship. Oh, the next one is the spice bobotie with a red fruit jam. Now red fruit is tomato. So everything that says red fruit on the ship is talking about tomato tomato is a fruit. So this again, this is plant based with the weird eggs. Okay, and then they said this one was divisive, but you either really loved it or hate it. It’s called a meaty or egg. It’s essentially a Scotch egg sold so it’s soft boiled and covered in sausage. Yes. Then there is a layer of cake batter around the entire thing. And it served with a turmeric aoli which is makes it essentially healthy. The sausage they said was Irby and very well cooked. And the fried cake batter around the whole thing was the star it was flaky and crispy and reminded them between a cross have a corndog batter and a funnel cake guess

Chris 22:44
the down that’s what I get. How many plates are those?

Kelli 22:50
It’s a cruise. So I only got through the breakfast. It’s amazing. The lunch is even longer. I’m gonna save that for another tomorrow.

Chris 22:58
Yeah, absolutely. Down with that. That space egg.

Kelli 23:02
You would like it? I think he would the media or egg is maybe your egg. Okay. Yeah, I think you’d be down for the tuba waffle.

Chris 23:09
I’ll get there was a potato which is like a tuba. Right and then

Kelli 23:14
the tuba thing. A lot of stuff is called tuba.

Chris 23:17
Well that is potatoes, rice or potatoes called tubers.

Kelli 23:20
I have never heard that in my life. Google that somebody told me if I’m just making that up, just to give you a really quick thing. There is a ham sandwich for lunch that is essentially served in the Powell de Kaiho bread. Oh wow. So preview of lunch

Chris 23:40
when I get when I get tomorrow. How to Kaiho sandwich dryer bag of those from Trader Joe’s one night. Awesome. Well, that didn’t do anything that made me want to house Yan. Well

Kelli 23:57
for 5000 small dollars it can that breakfast can be yours or if it’s just the two of us is less than 5000 Right $4,800

Chris 24:07
It’s all awesome. Okay, so moving on to World Showcase. With the announcement this week dead guardians of Galaxy cosmic rewind is going to be opening Memorial Day weekend. I thought it might be fun to do a segment on the roller coasters that are at Walt Disney World. And you know we’ve got Tron coming. I quizzed you on on how many roller coasters did were in the four parks at Walt Disney World? I was shocked to find out there’s only seven. I know I said 10. I mean, with a list of them. Yeah, there’s seven, but I just would have thought that there were more. So I’m going to rank the seven Walt Disney World roller coasters based on what I like. Okay, great. Sure. So that’s it is my show. Your show Don’t you all so there are four cameras listed coasters for sir for at Magic Kingdom the barnstormer Oh wow. See

Kelli 25:07
that was not on my list.

Chris 25:08
I know. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Space Mountain seven doors mine train. Hollywood Studios has to Aerosmith rock and rollers because I says rock and Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Slinky Dog dash and then Animal Kingdom you got Expedition Everest. Wow. Okay, that’s it. Right. So you’ve got Epcot is gonna get their first one with the cosmic rewind. Right. And then Tron will be coming to Magic Kingdom so they’ll get another one.

Kelli 25:36
So the definition of a roller coaster then is something on rails. Yeah.

Chris 25:41
I mean, it’s, it’s technically if we had done multiple parks, they would have also included

Kelli 25:48
oh, gosh, the Matterhorn? Yes. Right. So essentially, anything on Rails is is by definition, a roller coasters. Right.

Chris 25:54
Okay. That’s right. I went down a whole rabbit hole on like, how roller coasters were invented. And it’s thrilling. Okay, so much was, it was the Russians, but you’re not gonna share that with us. Sorry. Okay, good. All right. So my criteria for selecting and ranking these were creativity ride cue, which also sort of includes creativity. Ride length, and what I’m calling smoothness. Not just because some of Walt Disney’s roller coasters are just some of the smoothest roller coasters ever. They don’t jerk you around a lot. But because if we did include that hellaciously horrible ride out in California. Matterhorn Bobsleds will say is that he would be dead last would be dead. DFL as they say everything honest. Everything about that ride. That’s good, but, but mainly because it almost killed me with its lack of smoothness. So here we go. Okay, tell me if you think I’m totally out to lunch on any of these. I know you will. Know. I think I mean, I think maybe I’ve got

Kelli 27:01
some here that are better jump in and if you want to get through all seven.

Chris 27:06
Dead last barnstormer. I don’t know if I’ve ever read for no other reason than because I know for a fact I’ve never written I don’t think I’ve ever written. We rarely this is in the Storybook Circus area of Magic Kingdom. They’re there we don’t really go we go in there to ride Dumbo because it’s right inside and then we’re and then we pop right back out. A lot of kids there. Well, it’s a kids are in this is really a junior coaster. This is this thing is only one minute long. And it spends half that one minute pulling you up the first hill. Oh, God. Oh, and you know, it reaches 25 miles per hour. So it’s last

Kelli 27:45
it’s a baby. Railroad. Right? It’s a baby Thunder Mountain. Maybe that’s what I’ve always considered it to

Chris 27:53
be. So it’s you know, Goofy is sort of the conductor and all that so anyway. Barnstormers last if for no other reason, because I’ve never written it. Okay, number six out of seven. You ready for this? Yep. Seven Dwarfs mine train. Ah. I know. I had no I thought this might get a little bit controversial. Yes.

Kelli 28:19
Oh, what is your reasoning

Chris 28:22
about it? This this absolutely set a new standard for QA activities. Right? This gave you games to play and stuff to joke around with lots germs, spread germs. This brought snow white out of the woods, figuratively speaking. Because I’ve got a note here that says Kelly thinks she was marginalized for years

Kelli 28:44
she is marginalized. And she’s Davidson in her house. That’s all she

Chris 28:49
is definitely super smooth. This is a combination combination. This is a combo dark ride and outdoor coaster. Yeah, so it’s got that going for it. There’s some cool cars, right? They freely rocked back and forth. Yeah. It included new animatronic technology that made the cartoon faces of the doors much more realistic. Yes, right. It lasts about three minutes. Right? But it’s only 34 miles an hour.

Kelli 29:18
That’s why you put it at six.

Chris 29:21
Oh man, I’m a thrill ride junkie.

Kelli 29:23
So it’s speed so you can put Aerosmith number one just because it goes the fastest I’m not because that would be a mistake.

Chris 29:31
You don’t know what I’m gonna do? Well you just mad about you’ve already made

Kelli 29:35
a mistake. I don’t know how you’re gonna manage to salvage the section

Chris 29:38
you love big the seven doors. Seven horses are great. None of these are bad. That’s the problem. None of these are bad. Said I’m assuming barnstormer but all the rest of these are really great right

Kelli 29:48
and I believe that you right seven dwarfs is six okay go ahead what’s fifth what? What all the other rides beat seven dwarfs? Let’s hear it

Chris 29:56
ready for this? Sure. Space Mountain. No. This is the first iteration this is why this ranked ahead of the Seven Dwarfs. This was the first iteration of what became an absolute classic and led to four other versions Disneyland Tokyo, Hong Kong and Paris

Kelli 30:15
which I can assume all are better than the one at Walt Disney World may be you know, Disney Land is epic fail honey. Number five is an epic fail.

Chris 30:24
By the way, I could do a whole thing I learned so much about Space Mountain, I could do a whole thing about the the creativity that goes into Space Mountain. There’s a lot more going on than I realized and it deserves its own segment. This was the standard center for all future coasters that take place in the dark. This is the one right this was That’s why you ranked it five. Yes, that’s right is transiting now. It lasts about three minutes a little less than three minutes. Here’s what does shocked me 27 miles an hour. So it’s slower than seven dwarfs slower and it just barely fast, thinker junkie. But it’s 27 miles per hour in the dark. Your rationale is messed up. I gave it a lot of credit for being the legit classic too much fond. A lot of others gave it

Kelli 31:12
too much for that just a pure adult here. Seven Dwarfs is a

Chris 31:16
Debbie Downer when it comes to the classics.

Kelli 31:19
Spice Mountain is definitely number six. Okay, what else do you have in front of seven dwarfs? This is your it’s also wrong. You’ll

Chris 31:25
agree with this. You’ll agree with this. In fact, you might think this should be higher Slinky Dog dash number four.

Kelli 31:31
Yeah, Slinky Dog dash is good. Don’t

Chris 31:33
sleep on Slinky Dog.

Kelli 31:34
Don’t sleep on Slinky Dog dash, but could you it’s fourth? Yeah, we should discuss your segment before you put this together. I don’t think you properly considered this.

Chris 31:43
The cue is a wonderful trip down 70s and 80s Nostalgia still doesn’t distract you much from the fact that you’re in a long line. Ride creativity is fantastic. It’s like you’re riding one of those Oh, Hot Wheels tracks. Yeah, you know, yeah. It’s got to start from zero feature. Yeah, talking about later. This one goes up to 40 miles an hour. It is a little bit short. It’s just two minutes long. 1300 feet seven feet of track does pack a punch in those two minutes. It does but it is very hard to get lightning length for the triad.

Kelli 32:13
That’s why you ranked it fourth. Listen, your rationale is completely screwed up. Like you’ve got to use the same bar for everybody like wow, this one’s six because it only goes 34 miles an hour.

Chris 32:25
You eaten up all my time. Without you you told me how you mouth I did not. Number three. Number three Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. I hate Rome.

Kelli 32:37
No it is not better than Slinky Dog or seven Why’s the

Chris 32:41
queue goes it doesn’t do a lot W forget that you’re standing in a long line they have tried to improve at some with some interactive elements as little canaries in the coal mine thing it also has the benefit of looking see the ride up close like you’ve got those windows where you actually

Kelli 32:55
water and stuff water yeah a tight key you really close to people the

Chris 33:00
rattler every other RAM that goes down get suppose nice and cozy which matter less pre COVID There’s a dark ride elements it’s three minutes long 35 miles per hour 2000 feet of track it’s a nice long ride it is so it was nice and also it just takes me back so whole subculture to for row 15 another is number two Arizona’s rock and roll coaster 57 miles per hour zero to 57 It

Kelli 33:28
was 60

Chris 33:29
Well that’s what they say yeah. They’re like but like from a dead stop to just blasting off cool Q includes a pre show and the others include a pre show it’s entirely dark ride with some awesome music blared directly into your brain.

Kelli 33:46
That is true. Yep. Yes.

Chris 33:50
Twist and flips cool story. Right Okay,

Kelli 33:53
number one number one on the edge of my seat. No, you’re

Chris 33:55
not because you know what it is? Expedition Everest is

Kelli 33:59
not number one, honey. I’m so sorry.

Chris 34:00
What would you have number one,

Kelli 34:02
Slinky Dog dash number two seven dwarfs mine train. It’s crazy. Number three

Chris 34:07
is easily the best. Why then DISA cute. Not very interactive, but lots of cool stuff to look at. Every time we’re in the queue. They say hey to me on their little signage, decent queue not very interesting partial dark ride awesome views of surrounding Walt Disney World area because you go up so high, great theming along the mountain side. I love whoever came up with going backwards because that’s awesome. Get this 50 miles an hour. And you pull three G’s on that ride. I believe that I believe every ounce of that. 109 feet tall 3800 feet of track 80 foot draw.

Kelli 34:47
Are you still trying to three minutes?

Chris 34:49
This is the end and super smooth. This is the best roller coaster at the parks. And if you don’t think it’s number one and you didn’t have any right to comment about all those other ones.

Kelli 34:59
It’s not an For one it’s easily number one it’s not number one

Chris 35:02
