Now, they you know, the redesign, they paused, paused it because of the pandemic and then they paused it permanently, I think because like they needed people they needed traffic flow, right, go there. Yes. Until they get further down the road. Let’s open up cosmic rewind, and that sucks some people up and then we’ll write that’s what I think what do I know. But just as a reminder, the new spaceship Earth will feature great moments of human history. But instead of invention, inventions and technology, Disney will focus on something that binds all of humanity together storytelling. Many of the scenes you know and love will remain, but Disney plans to bring them to life and amazing new ways. New scenes will also be added to reflect the universal nature of the human experience. Okay, there’s a little spoilers new narration and there’s a little spark that you follow throughout all the scenes. That’s cute.

I know you do I do too. So a little bit of resort news. The cake bake shop by Gwendolyn Rodgers is set to open in 2023 boardwalk resort in the space formerly held by the ESPN club. I was literally just asking you today whether that’s a big space right it is. Rogers grew up in Idaho. She opened her first cake bake shop on Broad Ripple house area of Indianapolis, Indiana. Her cakes have been featured a multiple times and Oprah Winfrey’s own magazine and Rogers cakes. Cookies and pies are available for purchase at William Sonoma. This will be her third.

Okay, so I’m going to take us back to the Halcyon, the galactic starcruiser Okay, and this time we’re going to do lunch and I would just say I’m not going to split this out into like four different Tomorrowland episodes, but it is gonna be at least three. Maybe four I don’t want to live. Okay, but this is lunch. This is in the main dining area. So you did breakfast buffet breakfast buffet before so this is lunch buffet. So again Then it’s go ahead and pick your own seats. The only time when they’re seated service is for dinner sure and serve family style in okay, but for lunch is still a buffet everything’s on his own little plates, which does make me a little bit happier because nobody’s touching my salad bar utensils go up and grab the plate. Right? And hopefully, I don’t know, maybe there’s still sneeze guards and the fact that you might still need a sneeze guard is troubling, but in any case, okay, we’re at lunch. Okay, so here we are at lunch. Just a reminder. utensils and cloth napkins. Very spicy vibe. Right but it’s nice. Okay, so here we are with food, Tetris for lunch. Okay, you have your option of a green leaf salad. Now remember, you’ve got lunch two days? Sure. So all of these are not available on both days. These are sort of combined. Okay, you got a green leaf salad which has red quinoa, Amethyst, croutons, a Parma cheese round and a creamy change really in green vegetable dressing

Okay, this is a spy a ham and cheese sandwich. That is essentially in powder. K Whoa. Oh, right. I speisialta K home. That salmon cheese sandwich essentially served in cheese bread. I know you need you really do need that and it looks super fancy. What can we make that here? Yeah, I’ve stopped cooking. Next we have roasted Flora with tubers and red cabbage. This is essentially just some roasted veg. Okay, which I don’t want to downplay that. I love some roasted veg. Cabbage. Yep, Next is Kadu rib bites. And that is what it looks like it’s a rib bite with a sweet and sticky glaze and a spicy slaw.

There’s there’s one fish dish on each day. Okay, just like one takeaway sandwich only I told you the fish to lunches. Yeah, I just told you when the nori crusted red fish paying attention. There was one before that. Next is the Tikka tip. Yep, chicken with paneer cheese. This is a flatbread that is essentially Indian. It’s an Indian flatbread with very strong masala flavor. Okay, we’ll say it’s really great. That sounds good. So I love they have some some definite Indian dishes each day. They have a fish dish each day they have plenty of pant plant base. I mean, I really like what they’ve done here with this they’ve really stepped out here. Next is going to be your marinated seared tofu with saffron rice, peas, sumac aoli and a flaky flatbread.

I mean, that’s for kids or what have you. Bantha vinegar, gar red herb sauce. I might have screwed that up. I don’t know. They’re just making Simon yard vant the Vanguard herb sauce. This is a cote cheese flatbread topped with beef. Bantha means beef and space, you should learn that red peppers cheese and that vine gar red herb sauce.

They also have a daily sweet bread at lunch, which is essentially a cookie. So the amethyst sweet bread was Ooby flavored like that doughnut over it ever glaze. I’m probably saying that wrong. the day I’m gonna do my 5k that morning. I’m gonna go to breakfast, go to the spa, and then hang out at Disney Springs for the day. Okay, all of that stuff. I haven’t done enough. I know life. Yes. Okay, the next thing it’s back with a vengeance twice a day the festival of fantasy parade. Heaven I’ve lived So I grew up, not go not not caring at all about the parades at Disney, the parades except for the electric light parade, I was meant to say the nighttime parade. Electrical Parade, those were big the I could not miss those even whenever they would do them twice in one night, but the daytime parades and the shows on the castle stage, those things I never really cared about. I mean, we would see them sometimes, you know, in passing, but I just didn’t care about them. Until this one. We sat you know there in the the plaza square right inside the entrance and watched it on one of our trips before paying it was great. And it was just Yeah, wonderful. Yeah, I loved it so much. And I love that the PhotoPass folks will come around with their little signs up there so I’ll be all by myself grown as middle aged man. Chillin my butt off. Yes. At the festival fantasy. Yeah,

Now they don’t have anything that super new on the menu right now. But like they got like handed corndogs and some other stuff. But they’ve got their sweet and spicy chicken waffle sandwich with broccoli slaw, honey Sriracha glaze and housemade chips. That sounds great. That sounds great. As I look at it I consider every time I’m gonna get it get it I get that this time get it honey. And they also have the stretch portrait push. Yes. Stretch portrait like you see at the beginning of the Haunted haunted mansion. Yes. So I think I might try that. They’ve also got the Doom berry drink. This is Blackberry, Ginger Beer started with iridescent sugar and a haunted mansion thing straw. Okay, so give that a go. I’m going to do much better at the food booths at the Flower and Garden Festival this year. I’m gonna really try to hit those hard, okay, even though it’ll just be myself. I’m gonna try to do the best I can. And the seventh one I’ve got on the list is Disney and champion. Just the same category is harmonious. I loved it. I loved the projections coming down Main Street. I intend to specifically stand more in the hub this time we we intentionally stood down Main Street so we can see all that objections. Yeah, I want to watch that from the hub. I mean, that may be the only full We’ll turn around backwards and in the hub just to see that but I want to see what that looks looks great. So yeah, I need to experience Disney enchantment again, a different location for
